A MUST TRY.

I am not a local, but this place does hearty, home style, american food with love. The young guy at the cashier working on saturday morning is fun and the food is phenomenal here. I highly recommend getting a donut (they are quite unique and have this delicious doughy, old fashioned donut flavored that you just don’t find nowadays. The typical menu has a limited selection, but on their chalkboard they have a “secret menu” and many other food options there. If you enjoy meat, I would highly recommend the country fried steak, it’s insanely tender and is smothered in hearty gravy (that had bits of meat throughout). you get it with a large golden brown hash brown, 2 eggs and 2 slices of bread. They have many coffee options, and sell a variety of local items (such as honey) too. it’s a cool store, that offers both dine in and take out. The lines can pick up quick but this place will certainly have me day dreaming...

I just had breakfast here with my girlfriend, and we're both stuffed!

She got the Trainwreck Burrito vegan style with a vegan donut and I got the two-egg breakfast with a half order of biscuits and gravy and a side of sausage. I got my two-egg breakfast scrambled with white toast and hash browns.

We were both impressed by the portion sizes and the taste was AMAZING! We've been to a lot of breakfast places up here and this is BY FAR the best breakfast food we've had in a while. I had my favorite spot that I thought was good, but the second I had a bite of the biscuits and gravy I knew this place had them beat.

If you're looking for a place with a good breakfast menu that has some decent vegan options as well, this is your place to go to! They also have a lunch menu and mimosas, but we'll have to try those some other time!

Thanks McIntosh Country Store for such a great...

When I've ordered breakfast, it reminds me of how my grandma used to cook. Tasty, yummy, filling comfort food. I've had lunch there a few times. The deli style cold sandwiches are good. They can get busy durning lunch time. If you order a hot lunch and your pressed for time, you may have to eat fast. They do make good pastry's, pies, desserts & sweets.

The staff is friendly. Service is good but it seems like things would flow a lot smoother if they had 1 or 2 more employees during the breakfast & lunch rush. To sit down I've had to bus my own table a few times. I've had to wait longer than normal for someone to be available to take my order or for my food to arrive.

The amount of food you get is fair but the prices are on the higher side. Over all, the place appears to be clean, food is usually good, the wait time can be a little long & cost of some dishes & items are a...

Not often do I give a full 5-star across the board, and this place is worth that. Staff remains a delight every time I visit. The food is delicious, especially their French toast and breakfast burritos. Are you looking for fresh squeezed orange juice with your meal? Look no further. Every item on their menu is made with quality ingredients and menu items that are made from the ground up, I'm looking at you fresh baked rolls. There are very few places I would feel comfortable ordering food and then working from a laptop or reading a book. The wide open concept with local farmer sales make this space feel like you're stepping a bit into the past while keeping you warm from the idilic humboldt cold. Stop by and grab a fresh donut. Grab my favorite orange juice or a mimosa (the flavors are delicious and unique in the best way).

Oh my. We have a new favorite breakfast spot, and a new problem. The biscuits and gravy were good enough to write home about, and 100% home made. The train wreck sounded interesting, and it was. All sorts of meat, cheese, hash browns all packed together into a burrito big enough that you can imagine whoever made it just forgot the size of a person and the normal amount of food one can eat. Oh, and they have fresh squeezed orange juice. Plus, the coffee selection is top notch. If we were not completely destroyed by trying to finish half of our breakfast, we would try the home made sticky buns, also. Next time!
