Disappointed: used to be a regular… I’ll start off by saying I’m not usually one to complain online — I prefer to do so in person. However I almost always order to-go meaning by the time I get into my food, I am already home. I’ve been ordering the same thing (super veggie burrito ) since around 2018, and I’ve found it to be the best vegetarian burrito around. Post-pandemic I’d noticed some inconsistencies in filling amount, etc. and while it was irritating, I just tapered off my consumption for a while. The last few times I went it was fantastic — a nice big burrito that I could justify spending their newer raised prices on. Today was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had, and I cannot continue to buy their burritos or recommend them to my vegetarian friends. I called in our order, and they said it would be ready in 15. Great! We live about 7 minutes away, so we were there before the food was ready; no big deal at all! I don’t mind waiting. Burrito (and chimichanga for the husband) acquired and we were back at the house, digging into our food less than 10 minutes later. Immediately upon picking up my burrito I was complaining, “look at this thing” to my partner. I mean it maybe was the most deflated burrito I have ever had in my life. It sagged into my hand; had absolutely no integrity to it. Really annoying, but “okay,” I thought, “I’ll just stop going for a bit again.” But then I took a bite, and the burrito was… not warm. Like it was barely over room temperature. To me, that’s kinda the last straw. I could understand losing some heat within 10 minutes, but this was different. Popped it in the microwave and got it somewhat warm and then went to eat it — the burrito fell apart. Like I can wrap a better burrito than that and it doesn’t cost nearly as much. I’m really disappointed to say the least and I just can’t waste anymore of my money there (not in this economy!). According to my guy, the chimichanga was fantastic though! He almost never has any problems to maybe if you’re a meat eater, you’re...

LOVED this place. We are from out of town (Florida) and came to visit the Redwoods. Was searching and searching for the right place to eat after a day of hiking out butts off (10 miles!) and stumbled upon this place nestled out of the way. Upon first entering we were greeted and told we could sit where wherever we wanted. Service was friendly and courteous. My husband and I love Spanish food, his spice tolerance is insane. The waitress offered us different salsas and they had more options on the table. He enjoyed the variety because most places rarely have actual hot hot sauces. We started with the bean dip, and that's where I fell in love. I love refried beans, and hate when a place falls short on their refried beans (usually too cold or too think) OMG they were delicious. The dip was 10/10, I wish I could order it back home. I ordered nachos for my entree, and my husband and ordered al pastor burrito, which were both delicious. One thing I want to comment on is the prices and the portion sizes. Coming from Florida to Cali, I was expecting high prices and the same portions. The prices were similar (honestly better here) and the portions were amazing, hands down I have never been served that much dip before in my life. Moral of the story is I would recommend them to everyone and totally come back. No wonder this place has...

Ordered a Chimichanga with hamberger. It came with shreaded beef. The cook said there was no hamburger. Ordered a barrito with shreaded beef, the meat was cold. Ordered shreaded chicken nachos, the chicken was in 1 to 2 inch chunks. They said that was shreaded. The refried beans were bland and tasted like they were out of a can. Ordered a Strawberry margarita and after food was brought I had to remind them to bring it. After we were done eating they brought the margarita and said sorry they forgot again. The margarita was salty and it was really bad and it was like a salty slushy sold at a fair. They brought water, but never came back to refil the water. Sorry, won't be back.

As a reply to their reply, we asked for hamburger ( ground beef) the waiter said not a problem, we asked for shreaded chicken, we got chunky chicken, my wife sowed the waiter lady that this was chunky chicken and asked if this was shreaded chicken. She looked at it and said it was shreaded chicken. There was no dinner rush and there were multiple empty tables. We took the food because after paying about $80 I was not going to leave it on the table to be tossed. Mabey this was an off day for you guys....

The way I score a Mexican restaurant begins with their chips and salsa. First they offered it complimentary, always a good start. The salsas are good, especially their pico de gallo. The chips are not my favorite, they are a little gritty. I ordered a super quesadilla burrito with birria, so I was pretty excited. It didn't end up being what I was hoping for. I didn't really notice the quesadilla part. I was hoping for a little more crunch in the tortilla and a little more flavor in the birria. I want to go back and try something else. I like the cost and the service is good. You get a good amount of food. I think next time will be better! I went back and got the carnitas, so much better!
