Round Table Pizza — Restaurant in Arcata

Round Table Pizza is possibly the worst restaurant I've visited in a while. The service was terrible and the food was awful. The wings were mostly bread and they were only delivered after I asked about my order... after thirty minutes of waiting. The breadsticks were mediocre at best and took thirty five minutes to be taken to my table. As for the flatbread pizza I ordered, it never got made and after waiting forty five minutes for food that should have only taken fifteen, I left. The server was inept and apparently deleted the flatbread order and didn't know how to put it back on. The worst part was that none of the servers cared about the quality of the service they gave and were content with treating customers to horrendous service. The only part of my order that I got on time was the salad, which was self serve. Produce in the salad bar looked less than fresh, and while it was certainly promptly served, it was because I got it myself. I am definitely not eating at a Round Table Pizza any time in the future. Terrible food, terrible service, please do not waste your money here! If I could give this establishment zero...

Pizza tastes good, don't get me wrong, but when I was working there I saw some behind the scenes stuff that I wish I hadn't. There were a couple employees who would drop cooked food on the ground, put it in the box, and send it out (oh yes, I confronted them). For the longest time there was black mold in the cabinets (A LOT) where dough was made daily; it's been "fixed" but have seen mold elsewhere in the store. On a very specific note: Arlene is the devil and she doesn't try to hide it. She is a terrible person, especially to her employees and barely better with customers. Since she started managing, THREE people literally walked out during their shifts because of verbal abuse (spitting because she's so angry, red face with popping veins, slamming items on the counters in anger, etc) and horrible management. She will be the death of this Round Table. Working there before Chris left was good and I enjoyed the job. Plus, if you have a complaint or anything to report to...

8 times in 6 years I've ordered delivery. Supreme, extra cheese, small. Once (probably 2nd time ordering) it arrived almost raw and cold, literally ! Each time since I've expressed my concern, being reassured it will be monitored. Today it arrived severely burned. The olives were so crunchy they were difficult to chew. I believe the shriveled up green things were bell peppers ? I couldn't distinguish any other toppings. I question the extra cheese. I couldn't eat the crust, hard as a rock & even on the inside it was a challenge. Price was $28 ... something, I rounded it off to $35 for delivery (life's hard for all of us). I called expressing my disappointment and concern. "I'm sorry", was the reply. I cannot afford the inconsistency and will not cut back on delivery persons tip to toss the dice.
