I had to double take when I saw there was now a Woodland Burger in Archer. I had been going to their Keystone Heights location for years (even though it was still about 30 minutes from my house, it was still worth the drive!).
I, of course, had to pop in and indulge. I ordered the Woodland Burger with a side of fried okra and, though I didn't think it possible, it tasted even better than the Keystone Heights version (maybe I was just really hungry... LOL)
Their burgers are thick and juicy and, depending on which signature Burger you order, can come with an array of gourmet toppinga like cheese curds, fried onions, onion rings, garlic aioli, and even tater tots, I think.
They have a huge list of sides that includes fried pickles, cheese curds, tater tots, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, fried okra, and more.
And EVERYTHING is good! I really don't know how they do it.
You really have to give them a try, and now I think they have two or three new locations around the area, so wherever you are, there's a...
Read moreMy first visit to Woodland Burger & Wings in Archer was on Sunday, March 30, 2025. I ordered the Classic Burger, and it was absolutely one of the best burgers I’d ever had—hot, flavorful, and reminded me of Five Guys. I was genuinely impressed and looking forward to coming back.

I'm not talking about sick as in food allergy, I mean sick like sick sick. I just had the Woodland burger last night and since then my throat has become soar and it's getting worse. Last time I ate it, I almost immediately felt weird afterward and a whole 24 hrs after, I had a full blown head cold....Something ain't right and I dare not try to eat it a third time just to experiment. I'm not telling anyone not to eat there....but...
