The staff was so friendly and hard-working, otherwise this would've been a 1 star review.
I feel so ripped off... I ordered 8 pieces of sushi for $18 from the regular menu. This did not include miso or salad (although you do receive complimentary edamame). The portion of fish was razor thin and for charging a premium price, one would expect a premium grade of fish. The tuna was on the same level that of which you would buy at Walmart: very light pink whereas a high quality grade of tuna would be a deep red (look it up if you don't believe me).
I also sat at the sushi bar. It's customary to receive a complimentary appetizer at a real sushi restaurant from the sushi chef. This could be as simple as sliced cucumber with imitation crab or something that costs the house next to nothing to produce but makes the customer feel special. Didn't happen. Plus, I would've then tipped the sushi chef (his jar was totally empty).

Read moreTL;DR Only thing worse than the disorganized wait was the bland food and non existent service.
Came in of the interstate at 7 excited by the reviews. Should have known beget when only a half star above Jack in the box.
After 35 minutes they finally decided to start taking names for seating order. After ten more minutes fondant seated at the bar. Another fifteen minutes passed before taking drink and appetizer order. Hit the "last order" of the crawfish croquet special. Tasted mostly of cheese and a hint of fish that could be crawfish.
Ordered our rolls and nigri. Nigri Tina was hands down the best thing I had. Also ordered the Red Devil roll which promised salmon, spicy mayo, spicy asparagus, spicy pistachios, and habanero with cream cheese. Only tasted creem cheese. Some pistachios as garnish. Definitely not spicy.
Took literally 20 minutes to get check and pay after only one drink...
Read moreLoved the sushi, got the lumberjack, June bug, and the red devil. All of them were great, the June bug was my boyfriends favorite very fresh tasting and delicate but still flavorful. The lumberjack was mine so rich and decadent, smoky sweet, and the good kind of fatty that comes with good salmon. The crushed pistachio on the red devil was a very unique flavor super toasty and nutty. Thr crab cakes tasted like fried crab rangoon filling and I loved it, the miso soup was delicious. We got complimentary edamame but it was cold, i wish it was served hot. The creme brulee was also fantastic. The atmosphere was also great and so was the service. We found a piece of paper towel on one piece of a roll and the server was apologetic and comped one of our teams. Over all a...
