Scout Fresh Foods and Cafe — Restaurant in Ardmore

This place is one of the food gems of Ardmore, without a doubt. The decor is reminiscent of a New York subway, with White tiles lining the wall, and Edison bulbs lighting the interior. Every time I've been here the restaurant has been incredibly clean, and just about everything about this place oozes heart and passion. I try to get something new every time I come, and I have never been disappointed with what I got. On my most recent visit I got a chicken salad sandwich that was absolutely exquisite! They don't have as much outside seating, but when it's a little bit warmer outside I do enjoy sitting at their outside tables. They strike a nice balance between feeling cozy and secluded, yet still being able to see the small town hustle and bustle of downtown Ardmore. We were driving through town on our way back to OKC and stopped at Scout. We are SO glad we did! The food was fresh, well made, and delicious. We bought some of their cookie of the day (pistachio with cranberries) which were phenomenal! Even my husband who doesn't like many sweets thought they were amazing. We saw they had bottles of hot honey and wanted to get some as a gift. The woman at the register said it would not disappoint. When I told her it was a gift, she said we HAD to try it. Just went to scout for the first time and it was awesome. They have a choosing process that makes it easy to either customize your order or off the menu. Me being exhausted and just wanting something good in my tummy i left it up to the girl at the fr slid her the blank paper and said “i have no allergies just give me whatever you want.” She was so kind bubbly and gorgeous.
