Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers — Restaurant in Arizona

Most Food is bad, ice cream is amazing. The last time I went I got a patty melt (I think) at it was horrible… there was too much cheese on the sandwich and it also was drenched with grease. We got take out so we couldn’t get a refund/replacement. The cheese curds I got the same time were frozen and greasy at the same time it was horrible. The cheese curds here are usually really good so the workers were prob just having a bad day. I go now to only get ice cream (and sometimes hotdog or cheese curds). The hotdogs here are really good… I’ve never had a problem with them. I would recommend most things at Freddy’s besides their sandwiches (also bc there overpriced) it is a very expensive place so just know that. They give me a free drink 2 times, which is rly nice! I recommend this place for dessert/snack but prob not a meal bc it’s crazy expensive… (comparison… tru burger across the lot has the same price on their gourmet burgers). This place is by far my favorite burger joint of all time. The food is consistently fantastic. The fries are small and perfectly crispy and their fry sauce is really great, it taste like thousand island dressing mixed with mayo, I know it sounds gross but it's really good I promise you. The burgers look like maybe cube steak or even something better that's been pounded with a mallet, it's not ground beef hence the steak in the name, and they're very large in circumference but rather thin. That is why you at least need to get a double. If you are in the area do your self a favor and try it next time you are thinking of going to Jack In The Box across the street. You will pay nearly the same but get something far inferior. I know it sounds like I have a stake in this game, but that's not true. First time every trying Freddy’s: Customer service was great and friendly especially since I told her it was my first time ever. She recommended I try that fry sauce, which was incredible. Speed was phenomenal, I was through the drive through what felt like 2-3 minutes. I got the number one meal with all the toppings. Flavor was incredible. I love the mustard and the large pickles. The beef was nicely seasoned. The reason for the 4 star was because that when the young lady told me about the concept she said they served two patties on all burgers because they were smashed. When you make smashed patties I was expecting a nice sear on the meat and a little crunch. Instead it was no sear and they looked steamed.
