Geno's Giant Slice- San Tan Valley — Restaurant in Arizona

A frequently customer. I thought this was my favorite pizza spot until my experience today. So I placed my order over the phone asking for my pizza to be cut in squares. The young lady placed me on hold before completing my order, then came back to the line to complete my order. I was told my order would be complete in 20 minutes. I walked in the store & sat down 5 minutes later. As I'm sitting there a young man from the back comes up front engaging with the employees & manger explaing how he wasn't going to cut my pizza in squares laughing and mocking my request. It was @ least 6 people talking about a request for a pizza to be cut in squares. The young lady whom took my order chimed in & said "that is why I put her on hold when she asked " I can't remember all that was said but I was upset from the rudeness & no regards for customers that are in the store they had no clue I'm sitting right there listening to everything. The part that upset me the most was not the teenagers that you definitely expect this behavior From. The surprise came from me watching a grown man as a manager in on this basically agreeing to my request being ridiculous & mocking & trash talking me. I did address it with the young lady @ the counter asking if my request was an issue she said no & was very polite. I appreciate her corrected behavior, but that manager is the one that caused me to never spend a dime of my money here again. Don't forget Mr. Manager my money helps you to pay your bills. My absence may not effect you but all it takes is for more customers to be treated this way & you will feel it in those pockets. Not to mention last time I came & requested my pizza to be cut in squares it...

UPDATED: IDK what changed, but it only takes one time to mess my food up. I ordered 113.23 worth of food. I was feeling good, thought I would treat the family to take out. Sad, my food was 1hr 35min late. I called twice asking for my food. It finally arrived, they had this poor kid deliver a bag full of grease and oil (should have been 3 orders of wings), all the food was burnt, pizza, cheese bread, cinnamon sticks, ALL BURNT!!! Then the biggest pizza, huge box, pizza was BURNT and sticking to the top of the box. HORRIBLE! Called spoke with a manager he put me on the phone with another manager and he acted as if I was lying. I said dont worry, talk to your driver. NEVER took accountability! Blamed the poor kid that was delivering why didn't you look at the food before you left? The driver told him exactly what I told him how the food looked and that big friggen bag of grease and oil on top of all the food that was burnt and pizza stuck to the top of the box. So he had the audacity to ask me if I wanted a refund...duhhhh, I don't trust y'all. Then proceeded to charge my card. I called the next day noticed it was taken out of my account any way. He said it will take 2 days to go back into my account. Okay I'll give it 3 days. And I'm calling back in 2 days. My bank is aware as well. Never again! My tip, Go to Barros! Or just make your own pizza &...

I would have given more stars because the food and prices are really good, but... I ordered food and went to pick it up. When I walked in the manager just happened to be yelling at a kid for texting (understandable, except for the yelling at a kid in front of customers part). Then he stomped over the where there was pizza dough lying on the counter and with his bare hands, no gloves, no hand washing sink next to the counter or anything, started rolling dough and slamming things around. Not just banging things because he was frustrated, I’m talking full on slamming things and glaring at the kids, trying to intimidate them. I am appalled! To treat your employees so horribly, when customers are around, is not only inexcusable, it leads me to believe these teens are being abused. I asked the kid checking me out if he was his boss and he looked really nervous and stuttered when he said that he is his manager. I’ve worked in and managed kitchens for nearly 20 years and this made me so angry! I work in a kitchen at the prison in Florence and I don’t talk to INMATES like that or throw my weight around like that. These are kids, probably at their first job, and they are being very mistreated. If someone can find me the corporate number or even the store owners number I would really appreciate it. I have a few choice words and will be leaving feedback...
