While this Starbucks always has good service and coffees, the last time I was there around February 4th, 2025, the music was so loud I left! I went there to relax between errands. I had recently read that Starbucks was trying to improve the customers "in store" experience, so people could enjoy sitting inside, meeting people etc. So that's what I sought to do. There were about 9 customers inside scattered around the tables. One was attempting a "Zoom" meeting on her laptop. Two others looked to be doing research online and another having a phone conversation. I was there to relax. The age group average was probably 30-40 years old with a few younger or older. The music was VERY LOUD rock and roll. I don't know how anyone could converse online or on the phone in a pleasant way. It certainly wasn't relaxing. I've heard music at Starbucks before that was from their own sponsored playlist and artists, that was contemporary and rock, both soothing and upbeat, but not loud banging rock and roll. It probably made the staff happy and energized for the fast paced job they have, but it did nothing good to incentivise the customers to stay or enjoy the space. I was going to leave a voice message to a friend while there, but instead I had to drink my coffee in the car and call out there. Luckily the weather was nice so sitting in my car was much better than the banging of drums and screaming in my ear! I would have contacted Starbucks directly to inform them of the effect of the music, but their website is down for contacting...
Read moreI'm sad to say that the employees at this particular Starbucks did not provide their best customer service today. I ordered a Grande, Caramel Macchiato with only "one shot of Decaf Espresso", but instead the drink was made continuously with regular Espresso, which I can distinguish very well. This drink was made three times because they were not making it as requested. The cashier at the Drive-thru had a smirk on her face as I was handed the drink each time, and she would laugh every time I was handed a new drink. The manager, Tammy, I believe her name is, told me she "cannot guarantee it will taste differently the next time." I asked for a refund, but somehow I ended up requesting this drink all over again with only one shot of Decaf Espresso."
Eventually, the nice young man inside the Starbucks, who took care of the walk-in customers, finally made a 4th drink as I was now sure I wanted a refund. He tried to do everything in his power to make my unpleasant experience better and made my drink how I had requested.
My question is, "how come the manager didn't care enough to make my drink as requested at the drive-thru? I'm sad to say even she tried to trick me in telling me that it was decaf when it was not. That's just just not "good...
Read moreI come here during the day when on break from work and sit in the lobby. I make it a point to buy somthing each time, usually a brewed coffee. Today when i came in at about 10am on Thursday, i ordered a coffee. I noticed that the red light on the coffee shuttle was blinking. The blinking light means it has been sitting there for 30 mins, and a fresh pot should be brewed. I told the young man that rang me up that if he needed to brew a fresh pot, it would not be a problem, to which he replied, "Oh, it's still hot" and proceeded to pour me a cup from that shuttle. Now here's the deal: If this were a $1 cup of coffee, I'd be fine with it being not fresh. I spend more because it's SUPPOSED to be fresh, that's what I'm paying for. Also, i felt as though the employee knew that the coffee was old, but rather than making a fresh pot (which i was happy to wait for) he took the lazy way out and just used what had expired. I'm disappointed with...
