We chose this place because of a restaurant review menu review that we found on the internet under casino Arizona. As you'll see in the picture all attached the quoted prices for steak and eggs + 875. When we approached the host desk we were greeted by two individuals who handed us a menu. I immediately noticed the price differences by approximately two and a half more times the price that were quoted on the internet. When I pointed that out to the hosts I was told that they were aware of the prices online were different and that they had been published 20 years ago. I suggested that they honor the prices on the internet says they know about the problem and they refused to do so. I asked for a manager who supported the same attitude and argued with me that it wasn't their fault that the prices were not updated. She finally agreed to honor the crisis I was talking about but only if I had proved to her that they were online. I suggested she searched the internet find the web page I was talking about and she would see her online advertisements but again she refused to do so. After a few minutes we decided to leave and upon exiting I said to her that she can keep the four or five dollar difference it didn't matter to me. By the way the casino was completely empty all but a few senior citizens so they really shouldn't be chasing...
Read moreWent to try Cholla but could not get in without a reservation. The menu for The Willows looked similar so we decided to try it. Ordered crab cakes as an appetizer and they were brought out after the salad with our entrees. Salads were simple but OK. Crab cakes were decent. We should have stopped there. Saturday night prime rib tasted like leftovers from friday. Dry and basically tasteless. Mac and cheese side tasted like someone forgot to add cheese to the bechamel sauce but the baked potato was good. Sausage and peppers pasta was watery and also basically tasteless. The sauce was definitely mismatched with the overcooked penne pasta. The sausage slices had some flavor but not enough to make up for the rest of the dish. Nothing to...
Read moreBeen going to Willows for years and always sit at the same table. I know that they borrow some food items from Eagle's Buffet, and it's okay most of the time. However, recently I ordered the fried fish and mashed potatoes,... whew the potatoes stank (old) really bad and the fish was also old or stale (freezer burn). Surprised the server didn't recognize the smell and appearance. I was polite, said nothing, and ate about half because of starving. This was a one time occurrence, and I'll go back to try again while not so hungry. If it happens again, you can bet I'll roar about it like there's no tomorrow! Will try the fish and mash potato combination, come back and edit this review either way, but with...
