The Sandbar — Restaurant in Arkansas City

Went bar hopping with my friend and our last stop was the Sandbar. We were greeted by the owner with a corny “sorry, we’re closed” joke. We weren’t 100% if they were serious because they were so dead and it was about 1:30 am at this point. My friends look of confusion must have offended said owner, as we were walking to the bar and she kept running her mouth about the “look” on my friends face. At this point, my friend and I decided we didn’t like the energy of this establishment so we never ordered drinks and began to walk back towards the entrance. The owner, Brandi, then continues to run her mouth in a disrespectful manner as we were walking to the doors. By this time my friend confronts the owner and is asked to leave as if we weren’t already trying to. I’d recommend any bar in cowley county...

Place is chill, when food is offered its great, the drinks are amazing, and the music is good. Like the special events and the style of the bar... I would go more often if I had the time... if you're looking for a place to chill......

Here to visit from Texas. Went to Trivia night with my grandma and her friends and had so much fun!! Service was great and drinks were delicious. Amazing atmosphere. Great bathroom decor!! Definitely coming back every time...
