I used to love this place when I’d come down to visit my boyfriend at Crowley, other than occasionally they wouldn’t put enough syrup in my drink and it tasted like an unflavored latte! But when I asked them to add more syrup, they would very kindly add more. This morning, we both went in for coffee and the baristas seemed very grumpy. My latte tasted bland with no flavor and so I went up to ask for more syrup. The manager very bluntly and with an attitude told me that it was going to be $0.54 with tax for extra syrup. I was visiting with a friend; they had a coffee drink, and I had lemon ginger tea. I was looking at the cinnamon rolls but then decided no. My friend and I were out on the patio talking for a while when I changed my mind and came back inside to get that cinnamon roll, but they sold out. We've been talking for such a long time. I didn't realize how much time it passed so that was a bummer, but my consolation prize was the lemon cheesecake muffins, which were awesome! We never would Have known this little café was here if we hadn't found a coupon For it from the good neighbor perks with State Farm. It's hard to tell it's a café from the outside. But once you walk in the door it has a very nice welcoming café atmosphere with appropriate music, very comfortable seating, very friendly staff excellent food and the place was very clean.
