Bobby's Cafe — Restaurant in Arkansas

I read this morning that Bobby's is in the running for the best burger in the state, so we decided to go for lunch. Walked in nearly starving, so I was surprised to be so disappointed with my burger, but...

There's zero chance they could win best burger in AR. The burger has little flavor and lots of greasy mess. It's not horrible, but I wouldn't call it good, either. I got the half-pounder because I thought I'd want it for leftovers. I'd put them about truckstop quality. I'm giving the other half of the leftover sandwiches to the dog.

On to the facilities and service... Mediocre at best on both counts. We saw our waitress when she brought out our orders (2 out of 3 of them not to order, BTW), when she brought to-go boxes, and when she brought the check. Didn't check on us at all otherwise. Three people sit down and order the SAME THING and she brings out three differently-prepared sandwiches. What?

Go anywhere else, you're almost guaranteed a better dining experience. Unless you prefer to walk past the kitchen and see the cook with his pants falling down as was my experience at Bobby's today.

For a great burger, I invite you to try CJ's in Russellville, or any of the David's locations throughout the state. We will never be...

We always get the Bobby burger, it's massive with a small salad worth of vegetables on it. We sub the chips/fries for salad which is always fresh and delicious. We got the cheese dip last time and it was really good, dipping bite size pieces of the burger patty into it is also pretty good.

The waitress was nice, attentive but not hovering, she took our order and we got our tea really fast, and our salads soon after. The burger took about 20 minutes to arrive. The atmosphere was pleasant as well, mostly older folks. There was also ketchup, tartar sauce, Tabasco, louisiana hot sauce, salt and pepper on the table.

For the price and portion sizes, I'd say this place is a great deal. We got full and had leftovers.

I will definitely be going back and I recommend giving this...

I've been chomping on this burger for 2 hours and let me tell you it's like an orgasm in my mouth made of a quarter cow and nothing but love I heard about this place in Texas yes Texas that's how far the word has gotten since I travel for work and have been working in Little Rock the last 2 weeks I said hey let's give it a shot. I went in there with my big head and big attitude I thought I'll order the big Bobby Burger nah son I got an attitude adjustment today happy birthday to me I have lunch dinner and breakfast for the next three days. 10 out of 5 Stars if you don't stop this place on your way through not only are you missing out on the best burger ever what you're missing out...
