I hope when the fine people at waffle house see this Google review, if they see this at all... I hope you commend, appreciate, and show the most love to the two people working at the Maumelle store at like 4 o'clock in the am... I have traveled all over and ventured into many waffle houses. I have been to this one in particular several times before thanks to post concert food needs. I frequent the one in morrilton, ar.
But this one morning, at this waffle house went and took number one spot in the waffle house hall of fame.
Lord forgive me as I have forgotten their names, but the lovely lady that tended my table, and made sure my coffee was never empty... that made sure my kid had lemons in her water... you ma'am, were the kindest sweetest lady, and I appreciate your attitude about everything even that early in the a.m. ps, happy mothers day to you again.
To the cook. My man, where eggs are never hard to make, but always difficult to make just right.. you slayed it. Even my kid, who is the most picky when it comes to everything food wise, hammered through those scrambled eggs.. sausage rounds were just right and even the toast was magic. My over easy 4 egg Fiesta was even better. Right on target.
You guys made the morning enjoyable and left us full as hell.

Read moreOur food took almost an hour to come out and then each dish came out so slowly that the ones that were edible were done before the rest of the meal got there. Our waffles were simultaneously burnt and cold and then hash browns were wildly undercooked. Our server seemed to need a lot of help ordering our food to the cook, which was why it took 20 minutes in between our waffles and hash browns with no communication from her and it seemed like the cook didn’t care to help her. We were one of two tables in the restaurant and expected to have literally any service whatsoever. After what is becoming the standard level of Waffle House food and service, we asked for our food that was literally inedible to be removed from the bill, and instead of apologizing, they argued with us in front of other customers. This is now the third time I’ve had an unpleasant experience at this store, which is a bummer because I used to regularly drive across town to this one because it was better than other stores in Little Rock. Unfortunately now I will not be returning to this store, if I return to Waffle...
Read moreI’ve been eating at this location for a few years, and I’ve noticed the quality of service has gone down tremendously in the last year.
On Sunday, January 25, between 2pm and 3pm, I stopped in to grab a late breakfast. I don’t know my servers name, but she was rude and inattentive. She never smiled and acted as if doing her job was a burden.
When I finally received my food, everything was overcooked. The eggs were overcooked, the hash browns were black on one side, and the ham I ordered was missing. The man in the next booth also complained that his food was overcooked and requested it be recooked.
Halfway through my meal, the cook noticed my ham still waiting to be picked up by the server, and asked who it belonged to. He was nice enough to bring it to me and even apologized, but it was burnt, hard, and cold. Another server who witnessed everything said, “That’s why customers don’t come back.” She was referring to my server.
