My recent dining experience at Pupuseria Dona Azucena has left me with a mixed bag of impressions, primarily centered around the establishment's cleanliness standards. While the staff exhibited friendliness, the overall hygiene of the place was undeniably disappointing, to the point that it became a deterrent to the dining experience.

The cleanliness issue extended beyond what one might consider acceptable, creating an environment that was, frankly, off-putting. The conditions were such that they triggered a visceral reaction, making it difficult to enjoy the food. The lack of attention to cleanliness not only detracted from the ambiance but also raised serious concerns about the overall hygiene standards of the restaurant.

One of the most disheartening aspects was the state of the restroom facilities, which I can only describe as the worst I have encountered. The condition was, frankly, unsanitary and made the prospect of using the facilities an unpleasant experience. Clean restrooms are a fundamental expectation for any dining establishment, and the conditions here were far from acceptable.

Despite these cleanliness challenges, I must acknowledge the friendly demeanor of the staff. Their approachability and willingness to assist did provide a positive counterbalance to the otherwise disappointing aspects of my visit.

I ordered food tonight around 6 PM and was told it would be delivered around 6:50 PM. At 7:10 PM, I called to inquire on the status and the person lied and said I had the wrong number, then claimed he would check on the status and call me back. He did not so at 7:20 I called again and he refused to look into it and rudely hung up on me. I waited a bit longer and around 8 PM I called again, I could hear them picking up the receiver but then there was silence. I called a few more times over the following minutes and got the same thing. I tried from several different phones so it is clearly an issue on their end, not mine. It is now 9 PM and the food is two hours late and still not arrived.

Do not order from this place. They will scam you, take your money that paid by credit card in advance, and not deliver your food. I will be contacting my credit card company when the charge posts to dispute the charge unless they somehow manage to deliver it. In the meantime, I finally gave up and ordered from someplace else, which is what I should have done to begin with....

I have order from this place before and my order and the customer service was great. So, I decide to order from this place again for all of my friends and myself. By the time it arrived and I got it up to the room I realized they messed up on the order. In this situation the logically thing to do was to calmly call the restaurant in which I did and once the call connect I go to say that there was a mistake with my order and the worker on the phone just starts to yell at me. By the time the conversation was wrapping up they asked if I was a female not knowing what else to say I said yes and they then go and say that I am being over emotional and irrational all because I am a female. While also adding in that they might deliver the correct order, which was never sent out. By the end of this entire ordeal I had to deal with a aggressive worker from the gecko and un-called for...
