I stopped by Jon’s Joint in Arlington, VA, for a late-night bite, and wow—I left absolutely impressed. Located near Gates of Ballston and CVS, this place is easy to miss if you’re not paying attention. Parking is limited on the side, but there’s extra space near CVS if needed. I arrived around 9:30 PM (they close at 10 PM), and despite the late hour, the customer service was excellent—friendly, helpful, and attentive. The interior has a cozy, retro vibe with a modern touch. The walls are adorned with artwork featuring classic cars and pop culture icons like Michael Jackson, which gives the space a fun and nostalgic feel. It’s perfect for casual meals, grabbing a quick bite, or even dining in with friends or family. Now, let’s talk about the food. I was torn between the Jalapeño Burger and the OKC Burger, so the cashier suggested I try the OKC with added jalapeños and a fried egg. Best decision ever. I made it a combo with fries and a drink, which came to $22 with a tip. The food came out quickly and piping hot. The fries were golden, crispy, and tasted like they were made from fresh-cut potatoes. But the real star was the burger. It was everything you want in a burger and more: • Bun: Soft, golden, and lightly toasted to perfection. • Patties: Two well-charred, crispy-edged beef patties that were juicy and packed with flavor. • Toppings: Melted American cheese, sautéed onions, pickles, jalapeños for the perfect spice, and a fried egg that elevated the whole thing to gourmet status. The flavors were indulgent, well-balanced, and absolutely satisfying. Every bite was juicy, cheesy, and delicious. I can confidently say this is the best burger I’ve had in the DMV. If you’re in Arlington or anywhere nearby, Jon’s Joint is worth the trip. Great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere—what more could you want? 5 stars all the way!

My friend and I visited here on May 10th, coming from Richmond, because of a few social media posts from other influencers. However, while the food tasted very good, my friend and I were majorly deceived, hence the 3 star rating. Firstly, in all of the influencer posts we saw, the burger buns were properly big burger buns as you would expect. However, as shown in the pictures, they're just using slider buns, so you're mostly eating meat except for the last few bites with the bun. The slider buns are just too small. Secondly, the social media posts showed Halal bacon, but they did not have halal bacon on their menu. It seems like sometime after the social media posts from the influencers, they went through some menu changes. The lack of bacon isn't a deal breaker, but my friend and I were quite annoyed at the slider buns for all the burgers. There should be an option for regular buns or at least mention it on the menu that slider buns are used. This soured our experience to drop a star. With all that said, if you don't mind the slider buns, the beef burgers are very good. We tried the Classic double, OKC double, Jalapeno Burger single, and fries. All burgers were very tasty, and the fries were very good. We also did order the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and were very disappointed with it. Not spicy at all whatsoever, except for a tiny kick in the sauce that they provide in a separate cup. This knocked off another star for us. The service is friendly, but I definitely won't be coming back here again.

With this new burger spot popping up everywhere on social media, I was easily influenced and had to give this spot a try. The Food: I went with the double patty "#1 Classic" burger. It was kind of a let down. For $15, I expected more flavors and a little bigger of a burger. I get that its a smash burger, but it really just looked like I overpaid for a single patty. The char and crispiness of the patty was nice though, I did enjoy that. But overall, it was just an average smash burger, that is overpriced. The Service: Service was just okay. I believe I waited for about 20 minutes for my burger to come out. And that's all I ordered as well, no sides or anything that I thought would take any longer. There wasn't a big crowd before me either, so it could've just been an off day? The Atmosphere: The place had a nice old and retro feel, which was pretty cool. There wasn't a lot of seating available, so maybe ordering to-go would be the better move. Parking is a little tight as well, so something to keep in mind. Overall, a 3/5. Just an average burger, but just very pricey for what you get. If you're curious about this place, I'd say give it a try. But for me, I probably won't be back.

As a lifelong Arlington resident, I can confidently say that finding a consistently exceptional burger spot is no easy task. That’s why discovering Jon’s Joint was such a pleasant surprise. Craving a late-night burger, I decided to check out this new spot that recently opened in my neighborhood.

From the moment I walked in, I was impressed. The establishment was spotless, inviting, and carried an enticing aroma that immediately set the tone. I was warmly greeted by the owners, who were friendly and engaging—a personal touch that instantly made me feel at home.

I opted for the classic burger, and as soon as I got home and took my first bite, I knew I had found something special. The patty was perfectly cooked—juicy, flavorful, and anything but dry. The buttered roll was toasted to perfection, providing a great base for the burger. But what truly set this burger apart was the homemade sauce. I’m not usually a fan of sauces, as they often overpower the other elements of a burger, but in this case, it elevated the flavors beautifully without being overbearing.

After thoroughly enjoying my burger (in record time!), I moved on to the fries. They did not disappoint. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside—they struck the ideal balance and were the perfect complement to the meal.

Overall, Jon’s Joint delivers exactly what you hope for in a burger joint: quality ingredients, thoughtful preparation, and a welcoming atmosphere. If you’re on the hunt for a burger that truly satisfies, this is the spot. I can’t wait to return and share this gem with my friends and family. Keep up the fantastic work, Jon’s Joint—you’ve gained a...

I recently visited Jon’s Joint with my brother, and it was an incredible experience! I ordered the Juicy Lucy and the Jalapeño Burger, and both were absolutely outstanding.

The Juicy Lucy was a flavor-packed masterpiece—a perfectly cooked patty stuffed with gooey, melted cheese that oozed out with every bite. It was juicy, tender, and seasoned just right, making it a dream for any burger lover. The Jalapeño Burger brought a perfect balance of heat and savoriness, topped with fresh jalapeños, melted cheese, and a creamy sauce that tied all the flavors together. The patties were seared to perfection, and the buns were soft yet sturdy enough to hold everything without falling apart.

The burgers were paired with perfectly seasoned fries—crispy on the outside and fluffy inside—that complemented the meal beautifully. One of the highlights was their variety of sauces and seasonings available on the side in ramekins, allowing you to customize your meal to your taste.

The service was excellent—friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, featuring walls covered with pop culture posters that added a fun and relatable vibe. To make the experience even better, there’s ample free parking, which made visiting hassle-free.

To top it all off, the prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality and taste of the food. If you’re a burger enthusiast or just looking for a great spot to enjoy a meal, I highly recommend Jon’s Joint. I’ll definitely be...
