This place has had consistently terrible service over the last 2 years, and continues to get worse. I finally decided I would start going to the Whataburger right down the road, rather than this one, because their service finally got to the point of being so manipulative and unethical, I couldn't help but worry about what they might be doing to the food of people they aren't 100% ecstatic about serving, is just about no one. They have always taken quite a bit longer to prepare food than any other Whataburger, but for a while now they have even been using a tactic where they take everyone's order, and go around to all the cars collecting payment, just so that you are stuck waiting as long as they feel like taking. And I do mean that. They send someone out with a credit card reader and a tablet, and that person will walk around to every car, long before they are able to get to a window, because they are so backed up with orders they have not yet made, and collect payment from every car. Once they have your payment, they no longer care how long it takes to get your order to you. I started telling them that I didn't want to pay for the food until the order was ready to pick up, because they once had me wait over 45 minutes once I paid. Just for reference, I had ordered one single meal. Today, they turned me away, saying they wouldn't start cooking my meal until it was paid for. Of course, I didn't want to wait at that point, because I had already been there over 20 minutes, under the impression that like every other fast food place, they start cooking the food right after it is ordered (or maybe even before). I will not be returning to this store again. I definitely recommend this store to nobody, and hope they either find management that knows how to hire decent employees, or go out...

Went again about a month later with my boyfriend to get dinner for us and friends. Should have been a straight forward. One large rootbeer, one large frys, one honey butter chicken biscuit with a large fry and large sweet tea, one a1 thick and hearty meal with a large onion rings and large sweet tea, one sweet and spicy bacon burger with no mustard, and added tomatoes and lettuce with a large frys and a large half cut sweet tea. And 2 #2's pain and dry with mustard with large frys and a large coke and a large sweet tea.
That is 4 burgers, 1 chicken biscuit, 5 large frys, 1 large onion rings, and 6 large drinks.
We waited in line for almost 45minutes. And then had to wait another 20 minutes at the window for the manager to fix the order as the employee that took the order gave every order a different sized drink and frys. And then we where told to wait at the first parking spot because they had to "completely remake our order". About 15 minutes later a different employee delivered our food and told us she would be back with our drinks. 20 minutes later my boyfriend decided to leave without the drinks. When we got back to his apartment we found out my boyfriends order was completely missing onion rings, burger and the order was stone cold. Then I called the manger to complain and I drove back up there solo to get our drinks and my boyfriends burger and waited another 20minutes at the window for my order. And I still got the wrong sized drinks and the drinks themselves were wrong as well.
As far as I am concerned what a burger has lost my business. I refuse to eat at a establishment that refuses to pay...

And then when they finally bring it to me didn't offer any condiments didn't bring my gravy... I told them about it and then they said they didn't have any made of the regular gravy just the sausage gravy I said okay that's fine... She brings me a side of gravy with literally two spoonfuls of gravy... I brought it back to the counter I asked the lady is this was all I was going to get and she looked at me and replied it's only a side so yeah...( I've been ordering the same dish for a long time and never had a side of gravy with just two spoonfuls of gravy, was ridiculous) I like my food with my gravy on top of it and I didn't even have enough gravy to cover the top of my biscuit... And I wasn't about to buy another one.. took the plate back up there and just told her I would like a refund ... She had a nasty tone of voice and was being confrontational asking me why I wanted a refund, she had a nasty tone of voice and was acting like I was the problem...told her I was not happy about the service and her attitude... Totally messed up my morning and my breakfast the people there are usually friendly and on top of things but this lady was just downright rude unreasonable and I did not appreciate it one bit.. her name if I can remember correctly is Liz Hernandez... She should stay away far away from customer service as possible... Also felt the sense that her staff was...
