So the food actually wasn’t bad, I would probably give the food itself; 4 stars. My water tasted like lemonaid so it was evident that my drink was made carelessly, my Texas toast was not cut it half which is ok because it still tastes the same but it’s the effort that counts. My experience was a definite 1 Star. First of all, conditions/the situation have been present for weeks. This morning was not day 1 of having to follow new guidelines, procedures, having only the drive-thru open. I understand that this pandemic has altered working environments and the way things are ran but how long does it take to smoothly operate less traffic? You literally only have 2 lanes meaning if you are effectively taking orders and getting them out in time, you wouldn’t have wait times to 15-20 minutes per customer. People are having to wait ridiculous amounts of time because your team pushes every order to pull up and wait for their food meaning you’re taking almost triple the amount of orders in the drive thru and slowing down the kitchen making it take FOREVER for everybody. Don’t even get me started on the curbside people. There is supposed to be a team member who actively greets customers as they pull into online order pickup spots. I was not greeted until 15 minutes AFTER I was supposed to receive my food. There is 0 organization when it comes to curbside pickup. You need more than 2 spots with signs for online orders. The Hispanic woman who seemed to be in charge of curbside was extremely rude. She would roll her eyes when customers would ask for condiments- here’s a thought, maybe take the condiment tray with you outside like you would if you were expediting orders in the lobby? It shouldn’t take 6 minutes for you to come back out with ketchup. If you are working curbside, you shouldn’t be going inside for anything other than to bring orders out. Participating in any other activity risks cross contamination. Also, y’all should probably change your gloves every time you hand an order out to a customer. The 2nd woman of curbside was extremely lost. How does she expect customers to hear her scream their names if their windows are rolled up and she’s wearing a face mask? That’s the whole point of greeting customers when they arrive so you are aware of who is where when their order is ready. Blonde girl also looked out of it or she just doesn’t give a f*. Listen, I’m free for hire for morning/daytime management but I am requesting a $50,000 base salary with weekends and evenings off. Also, this offer is a contract of only one year and then I want to be moved up in corporate, I actually enjoy San Antonio as a city so I wouldn’t mind...
Read moreIt took forever to get the 5 cars in front of me to go past the speaker box where you place your order. It took 36 min. for me to be able to get to the box to place my order. Then I get there and I asked for macadamia nut cookies and at first I was told they only had graham cracker cookies. Then you hear the guy on the other end ask do we have any chocolate chip cookies and he comes back and says yes we have chocolate chip cookies. I told him I was asking for macadamia nut cookies. Then he says no we don't have that. So how can you work there and not know what you have. I finally get to the window to pay for my food and it was 8 dollars for my onion rings and my shake. He hands me my onion rings and my card and says thank you and I'm waiting for my shake and he shuts the window. He sees I'm still looking at him and opens the window again and I tell him I need my shake and he turns and hands it to me. I had to ask for a straw for my shake and some ketchup for the onion rings and he says the ketchup is in the bag and it was not. He hands me only the straw and then turns back and then hands me 2 ketchup after telling me it was in the bag. How do you work a position at the window and not know what you are giving out. And if everything that goes with that order is in the bag for that customer. So we don't have to ask for every little thing. Really. It was not bad enough I had to wait over 30 min just to place the order. But to get there and not get my full order and have to ask for the straw and the ketchup. I love Whataburgers onion rings because it's not the fax onions you get in other places and this is the only place you can get a DP shake. Come on can you not get us thru faster and give us our order correctly without us having to ask...
Read moreI ordered curbside, arrived and waited over an hour. I decided to go inside to check, luckily when I was in there they asked for my name and comes to find out the gentleman next to me received my order. He then complained about the fries so they took the whole order back just to find out it was mine. (Ordered 2 burgers and 4pc tender meals) They apologized and said they’d have my order ready in 5 mins. I watched them re-sack the same tenders that they initially gave to the guy next to me and the worse part is they had the tender boxes open to add the fries but they were backed on fries that it took almost 10 mins. By then the tenders were cold and when the manager attempted to give them to me I respectfully explained the tenders were no good but I would take the burgers since they were wrapped up. It was sad to wait another 10 mins, but the manager took care of me by adding extra tenders and 2 cookies. The manager is trying her best but the employees are lazy. I saw this tall 6ft male literally just taking up space walking back and forth from the eating lobby to the cash register not doing a thing.. as a matter of fact the tenders I declined he decided to pick them out of the trash and eat them.. Literally a waste of space, this whataburger needs help. The manager at night cannot be the only one hustling. Don’t go to this place after 7p. Not...
