If I could, I’d give zero stars. My parents bought me a gift card for Christmas at the location in Flower Mound. My 15 1/2 year old dog died in January. And the last time I came to this place, I was with her. I just couldn’t bring myself to come back till today. When I went to use the gift card, it wouldn’t work. Turns out if you bought a gift card there, you couldn’t use it at this location. No one told my parents and to top it off they switched systems for gift cards in January. The manager acted like oh well and said there was nothing she could do. If you are going to charge more than other places, at least have good customer service.
Edit: 5/3024 To the owner. The last time I visited your store was in July 2023. That was seven months before my fur baby died. I said to the cashier and you that I had $40 on the gift card. If you own all three why wouldn’t you just take the card? I had the receipt showing the amount and when it was purchased. I’m not hiding behind a key board. I did ask for help and you did just act like it was no big deal that I would have to drive to Flower Mound to use it. I have found this place to be great for treats but don’t understand why you would not accept a gift card, especially since you own all the stores. I posted here so no one else would have the same...
Read moreThe people who work here are very nice. However, the products are very poorly decorated. The ones I have gotten at other locations are decorated better than most cakes for people. The ones here only have writing and not even good writing at that. My dog never eats the cake I buy them literally just for the picture. The top picture is what you get at Three Dog Bakery Arlington. The bottom picture is what you get at other locations.
When I called Three Dog Bakery in Arlington they asked if I wanted my cake customized. I said yes and provided them the message for customization. That is the only customizing I ever did at the other location as well. As you can tell the writing and the cake are drastically different. I asked the location in Arlington for the exact same thing I order from my location back home in Tennessee and they are drastically different cakes. I got cakes in Tennessee for years and NEVER had an issue with the cake being so poorly decorated. The cake on the bottom is their standard cake and it's beautiful! The top cake looks like I wrote on it and made it myself.
Had I picked the cake up myself I would have complained...
Read moreMy son and I have eaten many times over the years at one of his favorite spots, Blaze Pizza a few doors down. I was thrilled to discover recently there was a dog bakery there all this time. I happened to be in the area again at Thanksgiving and decided to pop in and take a look around to see everything they could offer our fur baby (Daisey - chiwawa).
I took a lot of time looking because the store had just about all you could think of to get a dog. Just the cakes, cookies, and other treats (for pets!) displayed in a fancy glass display case looked better than some of the bakeries I have visited for humans. To my shock they actually made a full turkey dinner for dogs, and so I got one with all the fixings.
The staff seemed to enjoy the thrill on my face as I walked about a mile around the store taking pictures. I found out that they have four other locations around the DFW area.
This Three Dog Bakery is located walking distance from Whole Foods Market, Starbucks, and the Wells Fargo Bank. I would recommend just dropping by when you are nearby just to check it out for yourself. PS...Daisey loved the...
