I cooked here for two days. My first day I was brought into the kitchen introduced to the cook and shook the cook hand. Then was told to start grabbing food. Cook training me never washed his hands after shaking mine hand nor did he show me a sink where to wash my hands.Turns out the sink is broken and you have to use the shut valve to turn on and off the water to wash your hands. I did use the sink later that night to wash my hands and the next time I worked there. I was told to use a sanitation bucket to wash my hands. The same bucket used to wipe the line down. Place has poor management or none. After my first two days worked I called mike, the owner, the next day for a schedule. I was told by mike his son is working on it right now and he will call me with it. Never got a call till a week later. I told mike I wanted to work full time not just a few hours and then he said it would be a couple of weeks before he could do that. Red Flags going off. Well I applied for full time not part time. Never heard from anyone till a week later. I called Mike about my check and he was Extremely Angry yelling and cursing at me as I did something wrong. He never gave me a w4 form to fill out and was having a hard time getting me a schedule. More Red Flags. Filling out a w4 Usually done on the first day. Mike the owner stiffs people on pay and pretends he has know clue who you are and who to make the check out to. Been over a month still no pay. Ask to speak with a manager about my check and I was told there is no manager. Short shifts and no benefits and...
Read moreMy Wife and I enjoyed our experience at ABG's before heading up to the Fair to see the Americana infused Demo Derby. The beer was cold, our food was good and our server Lauryn was efficient, courteous and made us feel at home. We felt sorry for Mark the owner, a friendly personable guy while doing his due diligence checking on customers, ran into two Old Bitty's that night who couldn't be satisfied if they were dining at a starred Michelin restaurant. The first Hag obviously confused her Server with a Servant and complained about everything from the get go. She ordered Fajitas and must have complained they were burnt or something and made Mark take it back. Well Lady if you don't know Fajitas come out with a little char, why did you order them? The second elderly Debutante when asked how the pizza was complained it was burnt while the kids with her enthusiastically proclaimed it good. I saw the underside as Mark inspected it and being that I make my own pizza it looked done perfectly. If she wanted to see what a burnt pizza really is, she should patronize the wood oven pizza places where a little char is deemed "artisan". Being in that line of work I'm sure you meet more than a few of those type individuals but rest assured ABG is doing it right. Who can beat their 5 Domestic beer bucket, large 3 item pizza for $17.99?!!! We'll be stopping back Friday for Dinner before the Rodeo and will be looking...
Read moreIf you're looking for a new restaurant to try out in town, look no further than this amazing spot. My family and I recently moved to the area and this has quickly become our go-to place for delicious food. The menu offers a variety of options, and everything we've tried so far has been absolutely delicious.
One of the things that makes this restaurant stand out is that it doesn't feel like you're paying an arm and a leg for your meal. The prices are reasonable and affordable, and you definitely get your money's worth.
But what really sets this restaurant apart is the staff. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome and excellent service. Everyone who works here is friendly, attentive, and always willing to go above and beyond to make sure we're happy with our experience.
And as a bonus, we love that this restaurant is veteran-owned. It's always great to support local businesses, especially when they're owned by those who have served our country.
Overall, if you're looking for a fantastic restaurant with delicious food, great service, and reasonable prices, this is definitely the place to try out. We can't...
