Took my best friend for her birthday. It is not advertised that this is a home garage studio nor that there is not bathroom access, both of which would have been helpful to know ahead of time. Additionally, the class is advertised as offering lady bugs, bumblebees, mushrooms, etc but when we arrived there was no option other than to complete lady bugs. The instructor was quite rude to my friend whose birthday it was and seemed to expect people to understand the instructions he gave as he barked them out after a very brief demonstration. Instructions included “fix your marble (of glass)” (said very harshly), which if we knew how to do, we would not be in a beginner’s class. He also went on to complain about past customers to us. Had multiple sessions. Didn’t take long for him to go into details of his restraining order against his kids. Snapped at me regularly and didn’t even seem to think it was a big deal. Also nodded off during one of my “classes”, from who knows what, but I’m pretty sure I know. Also. Didnt have a working bathroom. It’s in a garage.

I see other people have had bad experiences and unfortunately there just aren’t a lot of people that teach glass. If you want to just teach yourself you are much better off just getting some soft COE 104 glass from devardi on amazon and a small propane torch. The experience was not one I would return for. The wife was not pleased with how she was treated. We were miss led by advertising, saying we could choose from different creatures. However, we were told we are making lady bugs. The website they run is also a scam. When I was going to sign up, I called. Asked if there was a cut-off on how many could sign up. Was told if I had a problem to call back, and he would get us in. Come to find out, when we arrived, we were the only 2 there.
