Paleteria Brenduchis — Restaurant in Artesia

This is a fun ice cream shop (and more), but it's kind of hard to find at night. Despite what Google Maps will tell you it's down what feels like a dark alley, not directly on the street. Once inside, the person at the counter was very helpful. We had a lot of questions because they have some unique menu items and she gave good descriptions and advice. There is no seating whatsoever, you will definitely be taking your food to go. We had the strawberries and cream, a gansito sundae, and nachos with corn. The strawberries were excellent, the gansito was huge (and good), and the corn on the nachos was fresh, not from a can, and also very good. Absolutely recommend coming here if you're wanting a delicious Mexican snack. They have a wide variety of snack ranging from paletas to ice cream to manzana locas. We had a decent sized order and hardly waited 5 minutes to get everything, they brought everything out fast!

We ended up ordering the manzana loca, pepino loco (with cucumber but you have the option of doing it with a pickle), a pistachio paletas, a strawberry/vanilla split (it's huge, you can definitely share with 2-3 people) and agua celi. I recommend all of this!

It's rather small so it's best you limit your group size but definitely worth coming here. The young girl behind the counter was super sweet and answered all my questions....

Everything was good at first look, we asked what one of their items came with, the young lady just kept saying like the picture and pointing too it. we ask again what the stuff is.
