Kith+Kin Roasting Co — Restaurant in Artesia

I feel the need to post this review b/c we absolutely love this place. Unfortunately, the last few times we went we experienced some sub par things. First, the little kids section is outstanding but it is always shared with at least 10 house flys we are constantly swatting at. The rest of the area they are not annoying only the little couch section.

Second, the last 3 times we have dined I specifically requested an actual cappuccino cup for my latte/cappuccino and all three times it has been delivered in a to-go cup. I’m not going to ask it to be remade or even poured into a cup after the fact b/c the drink is then mixed incorrectly. The default cup should be the appropriate cup for the drink and the to-go cup should need to be requested otherwise you’re just Starbucks.

And lastly, while sitting eating our sandwich I could perfectly hear the music from the kitchen which was much louder then the dinning area music. And it was borderline rap music coming from the kitchen. I understand mostly teenagers work here and I actually like that. But it’s a coffee house and coffee house music should be played at a volume we can enjoy in...
