West Woods Golf Club Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Arvada

Let's start out by saying we used to come here almost weekly, it's been awhile though.

Made a reservation . It was slow service, asked literally for everything because nothing came out as expected or was even on the table including silverware, syrup, water. Took almost 45 min once we ordered breakfast for food to hit the table and we had kids which were being surprisingly patient but even they grew restless . Once the food came it was cold, eggs were hard poached not runny, they sent for new eggs, it was almost 20 min and eggs never arrived. By then my 1 drink had already made me feel sick since it been so long. I finally ate my cold food which had no eggs and apparently arugula missing which i realized after. Another didn't ever receive her toast, 2nd drinks ordered took forever and had to ask about them because they may have been forgotten. The waitress blamed it on the kitchen staff, to which i would say, it was a whole staff effort of chaos.

Not until i went to the host stand to complain and then about 5 min after that went to ask for a manager did they do anything. Then they sent the poor waitress instead of the manager over to deliver the bill, it should always been management when its that screwed up.

They will not get my recommendation or return anymore. Its a nice looking place with a shell of staff. They were not even super busy. They did give us 50% off but didn't fight for return business very hard.

We planned a wedding rehearsal dinner at Westwoods Golf Bar & Grill. They presented us with a private room option and a reasonable per-person rate for food. We selected a family style dinner and everyone raved over the food. We are so happy we chose this place for our event. The room they provided was lovely and private. The staff was attentive, friendly, and unobtrusive. The food was delicious and abundant and the atmosphere was wonderful. I would highly recommend Westwoods for an event like this. We were very pleasantly surprised! it was classy and affordable. Who could ask for more? To book this venue, we were required to go through the city "Arvada Events" and expecting typical government bureaucracy. Dunno what has happened to this place but mens bathroom stinks something horrible all the time beers for golf were $4-5 now $8.50 each its like covid again - only allowed 2 beers per person for the course but that will set you back $18 for 2! don't ever see cart girls anymore to get another beer most all the staff quit because they can't play golf on their own time and drink a beer or they get fired last I knew there is still no food served on Mondays Tee times are almost 2 weeks out and if you have someone that doesn't show you get charged $10 per person that doesn't show The food is still good but pricey, courses are still well maintained and...
