So this place used to be a restaurant called Bhai Saab earlier before this new management took over. Man!! Prolly the worst buffet in this area. The management is prolly South Indian and Cooks as well. They spin out the most amazingly pathetic North Indian dishes on their buffet menu! I mean I just went there for lunch around 12:30 pm and it’s 7 pm now and I still have a bad taste in my mouth. The kadi pakora was just horrible! The mutter paneer was mediocre. Look mutter paneer is a very “forgiving” meaning it’s very hard to make a bad mutter paneer especially for professional cooks. I’m from Delhi and it was heart breaking to see the absolute murder of North Indian food! One disclaimer - this was weekday buffet. I had gone there earlier for a weekend one and the food (now that I have a comparison) was marginally better but I came back to try on a weekday as I couldn’t put a finger on it. The only other “plus” if you will is that they do have a “live” dosa stand which was not bad. The “baby” idlis and sambar are pretty good. But today on a weekday the dosa stand was non operational for some reason. I did see someone pitter pattering over it thinking that they may start it (at 1 pm for a 11 to 2:45 buffet!!!) and I asked if it was going to “come online”. Someone gave me a sheepish response which I couldn’t fathom if it was a yes or no. Overall, below below par. Sorry if the review is too harsh but I wanted to share what I felt. North Indians and Bengalis have a very high bar for food. This...

My wife and I recently visited Bombay Tandoor Bar and Grill for dinner, and we were thoroughly impressed. For appetizers, we had the vegetable samosas, which were perfectly crispy and flavorful. I ordered the goat biryani, and my wife had the chicken vindaloo. The best part? The waiter asked us how spicy we wanted our food, and everything came out at the perfect spice level—just the way we like it. I personally enjoy a fiery kick, while my wife prefers milder flavors, and they nailed both.
For dessert, we tried Galub Jamon for the first time, and it won’t be the last! It was the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal.
The service was top-notch—some of the best we’ve experienced in the area. The portion sizes were generous, great for sharing, but also just right if you’re dining solo. The restaurant itself is cozy, warm, and inviting, with a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
We also sampled their cocktails, which were as delicious as the food. Whether you’re a fan of Indian cuisine or looking to try it for the first time, Bombay Tandoor Bar and Grill delivers on every level....
Read moreI recently visited Bombay Tandoor Bar and Grille - Lansdowne with my family. The restaurant offered a warm and welcoming ambiance, perfect for a relaxed family outing. Food: The buffet spread was extensive, featuring a wonderful variety of dishes catering to both vegetarian and non-vegetarian preferences. From appetizers to desserts, each dish was flavorful and authentic. The highlights for me were the butter chicken, biryani, and freshly baked naan, which were perfectly spiced and cooked. The dessert section, with gulab jamun and kheer, added a sweet ending to the meal. Service: The staff was attentive, polite, and quick to address our needs, such as refilling water glasses and clearing plates. They even checked in to see if we needed any special requests or recommendations. Ambiance: The restaurant had a vibrant yet cozy setting, with traditional Indian decor that added to the authenticity of the experience. The seating arrangement was spacious, allowing us to enjoy our meal without...
