Tried coaches for the first time today for a family get together. The waitress provided great service. I ordered the honey barbecue wings. The honey barbecue does not taste like honey barbecue..it taste like an overload of vinegar. The waitress was great and explained that the restaurant did not personally make the sauce. It was something they ordered from an outside source. Was not to my liking but for some it may be. After explaining I could not eat the wings I ordered due to the taste of the sauce, the waitress was more than helpful and stated if I wanted something else she would be more than grateful to replace what I ordered. However, I stated I did not want anything else. I ate literally two bites of a wing. Another person within my party tried one to see why I did not like it and stated it was alright to them. Still just the same, my taste buds didn't like it. Everything was great with customer service. The only issue I had was the restaurant sill charged me for something I did not eat. Ordered 8 wings in a basket, literally 1 & 1/2 wing was eaten (1/2 from me, one from another member of my party) Times before at other restaurants when this occured ( which is maybe a total of 3 times so far in my life, and I'm an older adult) I was never charged for what I ordered. Very disappointing I was charged for this. My husbands chicken club was edible and he was semi satisfied, my son's steak was fair but had quite a bit of fat but still edible. He was semi satisfied. My other family members were also satisfied with their meal. My choice was just not edible. I would rate a higher rating but I do not feel I should have been charged the $12.99 for the wing basket that was totally not to my liking. However, the waitress was doing her best and very helpful. So, will I eat here again?? Probably not. In all honesty, the prices on the menu are just a little too over priced for what they actually serve in front of your face. The quality of the food is just not worth what they charge. When you come out paying $60.00 for a meal for a family of three, everyone's meal should be satisfying. Also, they charge a 3% surcharge if you use a credit card or debit card. Another way to pass the cost off to the consumer which I believe most consumers are getting tired of. Overall, it just doesn't seem like a restaurant chain that will last too long. However, the waitress was on the top of her game and tried her best! Wish her...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy friend and I came to Coachās tonight just to try it out and I can say neither of us had a good first impression. Thereās a specials board by the door that apparently hasnāt been updated since St Pattyās day last week. First we asked our waitress Tiffany about one of the special drinks, she IDs us, she had to check if they still offered it (it was a no), then came back to take our orders and proceeded to ask us if our IDS were expired. Not if she could see them again, but if they were expired. At that point we should have left and gone to Kickback Jackās because who checks an ID without paying attention to the important parts? But nope, we stayed, got mediocre food and service, and I STILL might have given this place another chance until my friend sucked a piece of plastic out of her drink that was not from a straw wrapper. Completely different texture and it looked like it came from a lid somewhere back there so that was lovely. Two stars because at least her plastic drink tasted okay....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ordered the āNEWā Summer Salad, it sucked bad, fruit was sour, spinach and strawberryās were wilted. And when I asked my waitress why there wasnāt all the fruit on my salad that was listed on the menu, she realized right away there was a problem and went to ask the cook. Then the cook came out and got quite confrontational with me and informed me that the menu had changed and thatās the way the Summer Salad comes the way I got it,,.. instead of just coming out and admitting that he dropped the ball and didnāt walk the 200ft next door to Food Lion and get the proper ingredients needed to do his job correctly. Waitress never asked me how my food was, I didnāt eat but maybe 6 bites after I had to keep spitting out the sour pieces. Instead of maybe giving me a discount or trying to rectify my order somehow, they charged full Price $11 for pitiful excuse for service. I felt robbed. What a miserable , frustrating experience. This place is awful....
