Super Deals Discount Store — Local services in Asheboro

I'll let you decide! I like or have liked this store for some time. I have also been and spent money at the Myrtle Beach location. I have been many times over the months to the Asheboro location and have probably spent around $400.00 total in my many visits. I have taken new customers to visit that have spent well over $100.00 on their first visit. I have also told others about the store with them reporting back that they visited the store and picked up on some good deals. More money for the store!

I am a nutrition, vitamin person and some of the deals I have picked up on has been from their nutrition section. For a while they have had a couple of bottles of Doctor's Best Ubiquinol Coq10 for $30.00. A really good price. I know because I've bought it from other vendors. Well, I decided on this trip I was going to buy one. The only thing I did buy on this trip. When I got it out to my car something told me to check it. As I said I have bought plenty of vitamins from them before and never had a problem. The plastic shrink wrap over the lid just pulled straight up and off leaving the rest of the shrink warp around the neck of the bottle. If you have ever opened a bottle of vitamins you know you sometimes have to take a knife to the shrink warp to get it off. With closer inspection it looked like someone had performed a clean cut around the base of the lid in order to slide the shrink warp off. OK, I thought if the inner seal is intact we are probably still good to go. I unscrewed the cap and the inner seal came off in the cap and you could tell it had already been peeled away from the bottle. Again, if you have ever opened a bottle of vitamins you have to punch out the inner seal or do as I do and pry it up from the bottle so you can put it back in the cap to help keep a good seal.

OK, they had been opened. Take them back, right. I hated too because as I said, this was a great price on these particular supplements. Amazon, $73.99 per bottle!! Well, I had too. Something you take internally and not sure what or if anything had been done to them? Here is what I don't understand. I am still in the parking lot. It has just been five minutes ago, give or take, that I bought them. I showed the girl that checked me out how the shrink warp slide off and on the bottle and how the inner seal had already been removed. I told her I would like a refund but unsure what to do she called who she later told me was the owners daughter, to ask. I could hear the two way conversation and heard the girl at the other end say, "give him a store credit". I told both that I did not want a store credit because we were talking about $30 I had just spent minutes ago and I did not need anything else from the store at this time and had no idea when I might need $30 worth of product. (This is also the time no paycheck is coming in due to Covid-19 making that $30 very important.) I relayed I just needed my money back. All in a very nice way! It was then I heard the person on the other end of the phone say, "Give him is money back and he is banned from the store, I mean it! He is never to come in the store again, I mean it".

We are talking about something that could have been altered, poison for all I know. Possibly very dangerous. I never knew asking for your money back in this type of situation could ban you from a store! Shop here if you would like but don't ask for your money back if you like going...

My wife and I always have a great time at one of the three Super Deals locations! We drove one day last week to Asheboro NC to specifically go visit this Super Deals location. You never know what you may find at these stores. It’s an adventure you will not want to pass up ! You owe it to yourself and those you love to travel there ! You will not be disappointed !! We also have visited their location in Myrtle Beach SC ! We have found many deals and treasures here …..our favorite location ! However ,on a sad note they will be closing this location at the end of the year ,so if you find yourself in the Myrtle Beach area this summer you should run over there before it’s too late ! The last location is in Holden Beach NC and it’s fun to look around as well! All the staff at all three locations are as nice and friendly as one would find anywhere! They have everything on earth at these stores from clothes to shoes to outdoor furniture to yard equipment! Toys galore and any products you use to do hair or to smell well !!! Have fun ! Worker was very rude. My sister asked for the bathroom and was told it was in the back. She couldn’t find it. My sister looked for it and thought it might be behind a curtain and looked very quickly. The worker raised her voice and said I told her it was at the front and would not flush. She told me I moved the curtain and she saw me. I responded that I did not. She said in a loud voice that I did too and she saw me. I did say she needed her eyes checked and needed to adjust her attitude if she was going to work with the public. She went to the front of the store and was telling other shoppers that she had already told my sister and her posse. She continued to talk to other shoppers as we left the store. Our cousin was still in the store and she also heard her tell my sister that the bathroom was at the back. She did not mention that it wasn’t flushing. She said that we got the old woman of the day award. These old women will not be back and will tell everyone we know not to go. I do not know the name of this worker but she was short,...
