Usually it’s 3 strikes but this was my second visit and it was a disaster. Server came up and said what are you drinking. Not a pleasant greeting, not a would you like a Pepsi or would you prefer an ice tea. Don’t suggest any appetizers or let my daughter and I know about any specials. My kiddo ordered a bacon cheeseburger plain with fries. I ordered the Salmon with 2 sides.

My daughter’s burger came out over cooked and not even hot and only then was I told that they were out of Salmon because the truck never brought any. I’m sorry but you should know what you have and not have. Salmon should’ve been 86’d when they opened today.

So I ordered the fried fish dinner. My daughter eats the rest of the not great burger and we sit for an additional 20 min. I finally tell the server just have kitchen box my fish up. We came to have dinner together and she’s now ready to go. Another 10 min pass and the meal came out boxed up to go. I wasn’t charged for the fish dinner but as soon as I got home which is less than 5 min away I pull out the dinner to find it cold and not edible. Just gross.

We left and as we were walking out, we pass a host and hostess along with 2 other servers who didn’t even acknowledge us and say goodbye or give a thanks for stopping in.

I’ll never go back. Looks like management as well as staff need some serious training. I wish I still had my company because i used to go in and train restaurants and their personnel...

We placed an order for pick up for 8:50 PM, when we arrived and called to let them know we were there, we were told they were out of ribs and can substitute for riblets. We were told at that time that we could have a free appetizer for the inconvenience since we had to wait for the riblets. We received a phone call about 5 minutes later to let us know the riblets were frozen and can no longer make riblets, we were ok with substituting with a burger, I asked the gentleman if our charge would be corrected since we paid originally for a full rack of ribs. He said he wasn’t sure? We got our meal brought to us by the general manager. I asked her if we would be charged accordingly due to the 10 dollar price between the burger and ribs. She said we were given a complimentary appetizer worth 10 dollars to make up the difference. I said no, that was given to us originally because nobody called us to tell us there were no ribs until we were there to pick up our food, and we had to wait another half an hour. Needless to say we paid for the full rack of ribs we didnt get, we also got home to discover we didnt even get our sides for two of our meals😭 We got soggy fries obviously cold because we waited so long, so these were supposed to make up the 10 dollar difference. I never write reviews but was very upset over paying for something we did...

Years ago, Applebee's was a "meh" but in the last few months we have eaten there many times and the food, service and especially the staff have been outstanding. I had a small problem on two orders on two different occasions. One was very minor but they not only fixed the problem but gave me a free dessert. The other time it was a steak that was undercooked (twice, but it was an excellent cut of meat) but the manager took the time to explain to me they were getting steak from a different distributor which were thicker and the chefs were getting to know how to cook new meat for the proper amount of time. I repeat that the meat was excellent. The manager also gave us a deep discount on the meal - MORE than fair. The parmesan sauce for chicken, steak, and shrimp is excellent. Also, we asked them to cook the broccoli to our specs and they did a superb job with that, too. We plan to keep going back for a long time. We were rather disappointed. We hadn't eaten there in a year or two and decided to try it again. The first time wasn't bad. Service was nice, the food wasn't spectacular, but it was fine. I had a soda water and was not charged for it. We received a free appetizer coupon so we came back as a whole family. The wait was long, I asked for soda water and was told that it would be charged as a drink. The food was no where near what it was. The chili was horrible. The waitress and then the manager both said that the chili didn't look right. The manager said that it looked like it dried out and offered to add water to it and reheat it for us. We didn't want it so he took it away. They still charged us $5 for it. By time we left, we had spent almost two hours there. It was horrible. Not worth the coupon.
