Booked the truck for a wedding in October, 2022. Paid the down payment, communicated with the owner one month before event to complete payment. Owner tried to charge my ccard over by $200. Ccard company identified the transaction of possible fraud. After confirming it was Tracy Girl, funds were released, unintentionally for the +$200 amount. Tried several times to correct the error with the owner who ghosted me. I truly felt I was being scammed and never believed she would show up. DAY OF THE WEDDING, wedding staff informed me she was a no show, one half hour late for set up. They called and it went straight to voicemail. Shortly after she returned the call to the wedding staff and they were rude to her. Come to find out, she emailed the bride, during the reception, as if she had her phone on her, promising a refund as her truck broke down on the way?! Once she was met with rude staff she ripped off another email saying we broke the contract, which was cookie cutter from somewhere, by not allowing her to tow the truck to the event. Contract clearly states if truck is not available because, "An act of God". Clearly, mechanical issues are not an, "Act of God". Long story short, I tried to correct the issue after the wedding. I was met with a defiant attitude, as if WE had done something wrong!!?? Definately......if you value your hard earned $, don't hire this truck. She still owes the deposit of over $500 and when recently contacted via text, she ghosted again. Terrible customer service and a thief!!
As a response to the owners comments.... Tracy Girl was a "No show" for the pre-determined, agreed upon, time for set up. One half hour after the agreed upon set up time is when communication began to occur between the venue and myself regarding your absence and it was at that time I was told your truck was a "No show", which it was...No show, no call! An email to a bride in the middle of her wedding is not appropriate and frankly, idiotic. You could have called the venue, also had my number and could have called me and you chose to email the bride, in the middle of her wedding!!?? I have the emails and text messages as well and would be more than happy to post them for other readers so they can understand how much of a poor business woman you are. My daughter may have signed the contract but I write the checks and I communicated with you one month prior and you never complained about that, why? Because I was giving you my credit card information!! I told her not to communicate with you after the wedding as you had already caused her much grief and anxiety. She spent the night of her wedding crying over what you caused and your further emails to her on her wedding night of how it was her fault you were revoking any refund! And as far as your Google cookie cutter contract, you don't even know what an "Act of God" is! Again, your mechanical issues with your aged truck are not "Acts of God". Therefore, we never broke the contract. Lastly, you still owe me over $500. You still had to tow your truck whether it was to the venue or to where ever...
Read moreWe stopped after a day at the Science center. The people are super nice, we chatted a bit and I asked a few questions. Turns out they do private events! How fun! The cones are homemade, and really pretty. The ice cream was yummy! Clean well mowed area with picnic tables to sit and enjoy your sweet treat! We will definitely come back! Update! After a hot visit to the park, we decided to get Ice Cream. The owner is so super nice. It's a family run business! I ordered a twist soft serve in a dark chocolate cone. My kiddo ordered cookie dough in a dark chocolate cone. The soft serve was so creamy & yummy. There was plenty of parking, and a nice mowed area with multiple picnic tables. I love supporting local businesses, and we will...
Read moreThis company is completely unprofessional. We booked them for our wedding this past October, they cancelled on us the day before saying they had mechanical issues with the truck. They then stated they would refund us our $700 deposit within 30 days as written in their contract. The event was October 3rd and we still have not been given our refund back. After multiple unanswered emails and phone calls we were finally able to speak to Michelle on November 24th and were told it would be one more week until they could mail it out and that they “forgot”. It is now December 9th and their phone number we had previously contacted them on is not in service. We feel like we...
