By default I'd rate this as the best Mexican food in 100 miles! 👍

Because it's the only Mexican food within 100 miles.🤕

However, the food is pure garbage. Pure trash. When you put sweet dill pickles on a salad and portobello mushrooms in fajitas, there is a problem.

The mere mention of authentic Mexican food at this establishment is a crime against the entire Mexican culture.

A shrimp cocktail is to be served iced cold, not hot or warm 😫

Mexicans don't eat bacon, don't wrap your shrimp in bacon, smother it with mozzarella, and serve with canned beans and uncle Ben's rice.

Fajitas are to be served with so much seasoning that you want to scrape the plate and clean it off with a tortilla.

Salsa is supposed to be more than pureed tomatoes mixed with onions. There was no cilantro or jalapeño

There is not a single stalk of celery in all of Mexico served in anything but a bloody mary... at best.

Understanding that the produce is locally sourced, there are proper ingredients available at the local supermarket that you can use.

I would suggest a trip to Cabo San Lucas for a week of training and some warming up from the snow.

I really believe that this restaurant wants to serve good food, so I stick with the 5 stars.

But please, for the love of God, and all that is Holy and pure, take this review to heart and fix this before you turn into another Otts...

The service was okay. My husbands Carnita plate was ok. But I ordered the 7 mares a seafood soup that tasted like dirty dish water, nasty smell and looking really bad I wasn’t going to eat it. My daughter asked for a shrimp cocktail that was tasteless and also tasted bad, I was scared that she might get sick eating that. Well I let the waitress know and at the moment my husband finished eating we proceed to pay the check and to our surprise they are charging us for the horrible food we didn’t even eat! We refused to pay for it. They said they will Call the police so here we are waiting for the police to show up, because there’s is no way we are paying for this. It’s crazy! The dining room was extremely dirty I can only imagine how dirty the kitchen is, and restrooms were horrible! Good thing we are never coming back to this horrible place. We came here to celebrate my dad's 60th after doing a lot of research and reading reviews. My family experienced severe racism here. Half our family is vegetarian and we specifically asked for dishes that were meat-free. They put meat in the dishes and then were extremely passive aggressive and refused to remake the dishes or deduct them from our bill. My mother is always considerate and ethical and fair with service workers. The waitress, who happened to be the owner, denied making this concession and then threatened to call the cops on my mother. Half our family didn't get to eat. We were willing to compromise/negotiate but there was a complete lack of any flexibility or sympathy. In the end we just wanted to pay the bill, even for the dishes we could not eat, to get out of there. This was a disturbing experience and we never experience racism like this.
