Dutch Bros Now in Atascadero – A Welcome Addition for Coffee Lovers!
If you're a fan of Dutch Bros, you'll be happy to know they’ve officially set up shop in Atascadero, bringing their signature high-energy service and delicious coffee a little closer to home for those of us in Paso Robles.
I’ve already made two stops in the past two days since finding out, and I have to say—I’m pretty stoked! Great coffee, fast service, and a team that brings good vibes first thing in the morning.
Friendly Faces & Fresh Energy
Even though the crew is still new, they’re already running things smoothly and keeping up the cheerful, upbeat atmosphere that Dutch Bros is known for. This morning, I had a great experience—after a mix-up the day before (I ordered a large but got a small), I let them know, and they immediately made it right by adding bonus points to my app as an apology. That’s customer service done right.
Looking Forward to More Morning Pick-Me-Ups
It’s always refreshing to start your day with a great cup of coffee and a friendly interaction, and I’m looking forward to seeing this team settle in and thrive. If you're in the area and need a quick caffeine fix with a side of good vibes, swing by and check them out!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — Five stars for great service, great coffee, and a much-needed Dutch Bros...
Read moreI’m a big fan of Dutch Bros and my favorite drink is there, so I was genuinely excited when a location opened in our area. However, I’ve consistently had a frustrating experience at this specific spot. While the staff are friendly and clearly doing their best, most of them seem very young and inexperienced—likely in their first jobs—which leads to frequent errors and inconsistencies.
I’ve had multiple mix-ups with drinks, such as receiving the wrong order, getting a blended drink instead of iced, or having a Rebel that tastes completely different due to missing syrup or incorrect portions. On top of that, the ordering experience can feel a bit chaotic. The staff often seem unsure of what they’re doing, and there's a stronger focus on overly chatty, repetitive small talk rather than making sure the drinks are correct and served efficiently.
It’s not that they’re rude—just unprepared and not always able to answer basic questions or handle orders smoothly. I really want to keep supporting Dutch Bros, but the lack of consistency and the overwhelming atmosphere at this location make it hard to enjoy...
Read moreThe “auto tipping” on the app and the cringe inducing tip request with every single order is borderline theft. It’s meant to instill a sense of awkward acquiescence. It’s a terrible business model. Just increase your drink price by $0.50,pay your employees more, and stop demanding people tip you for pouring premixed slop into a cup.
Edit : Aside from the issue above, the app malfunctioned and ordered 2 of the same drink on two orders $8/drink and $2 tip before I get the drinks. I just kept both and then realized neither blended drink had any blended ice in it and was just the syrup base. So they want a tip before the drink is made and then made both drink completely wrong. I poured both out and won’t go...
