Cat's Eye Saloon — Restaurant in Athens

From the perspective of a college senior: The cat's eye saloon is one of the better bars in Athens. It is an upperclassman bar as they are one of the more strict ones with karting. Also feature some townies. It is dominated by an extremely long bar top, so there's plenty of stools to sit up at the bar however there's also some booths in the front and if you and the back. It has a jukebox which you can pay to play whatever music you want. There's also a pool table and a fairly open area in the back of the bar even though it looks deceptively small at the front. However the best element of this bar is undoubtedly the foosball table which is one of the only ones in Athens. It also has very good drink prices and specials. My wife went to school at Ohio University... and we were in town with 5 other friends for four days enjoying the local roads (on our motorcycles) and enjoying the town every afternoon and evening.

A very welcoming local bar with great bartenders and great drink choices at great prices. We visited several times over the four days we were there.
