We have been to the convocation center a few times to watch volleyball and have enjoyed ourselves each time. The atmosphere is fun! We buy our tickets online so once you arrive they just scan your phone and you choose which seat you'd like to sit in. The Convo is Ohio University's basketball arena and de facto event center. While it is old and its facilities reflect that fact, its domed top is an iconic welcome as you approach Ohio University's campus. I have no complaints about the Convo as a sports venue. There aren't really any bad seats. There is a giant score board that is visible around the venue.
