Several folks told me about this restaurant so figured I'd go try it for myself. They're open from morning to night but I decided to dine in for brunch. They're in a strip mall so there is plenty of free parking in a huge lot. The interior is decent, tons of decorations and a TV or 2 for watching. Plenty of seating inside and outside so unless they're super packed, wait time should be fairly minimal.

Drinks this visit were the Apple Zing and Blue Corn Antioxidant Tea. 1st is a fresh juice consisting primarily of apple juice, carrot juice, and ginger. Tea tasted like the base was apple cider with some additions, including fresh cut apples and pineapples added in. Very delicious beverages!

For the food, we got an order of 3 buttermilk pancakes. They're nice and fluffy but not so much so that it can't be held together on a fork. This is how I prefer my pancakes mostly. The only thing you can do better is put that crisp on the outer ring but most restaurants are not pulling that off. The 2nd order of pancakes were gluten free and are actually a part of their Southern Deluxe dish and had berries cooked in. The dish itself comes with grits, eggs cooked to your preference, bacon, fried okra, and cornbread. All of it was on point. The only thing some may be put off on is how you like your cornbread. It only has a subtle sweet taste but not overpowering so try it if that's your vibe. Last dish was the breakfast tacos with pork sausage and extra spice requested. Besides the sausage, it comes with eggs, pico de gallo, cheese, green salsa on the side, and some red dust (probably a pepper grinded to dust but I'm not entirely sure) if you request spicy. The dust, whatever it is, adds spice and only spice. It did not taste like a seasoning at all and didn't add to the flavor but did accomplish the spice I requested.

All in all, this place has great breakfast/brunch and is very reasonably priced for what you get. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu at some point. Stop by and give them a try if any of this is...

I did not care for the guy at the front, who tried to seat us way in the back near the restroom when there were plenty of seats in the front. He had zero personality and appeared to have a bit of an an attitude. After requesting another table, we were seated in the front. We were greeted by a bubbly Asian lady, who indiicated that she would be taking our order. I thought, well at least she has personality. She brought water to the table and disappeared for about 10-minutes.

We were looking around like where did she go? She reappeared and took our orders. I asked for a sprite with my pancake meal. When she brought me the sprite, it was flat. I asked her to just bring a lemonade instead. When she brought what was supposed to be lemonade, it seemed to be lomanade poured into the flat sprite that I had just sent back. It was horrible, but I did not send it back. At this point, I just wanted to leave. So strange...

When the order came out there was one small souffle cup of syrup for two large pancakes. When asked for more syrup. She hesitated and disappeared once again. While I sitting waiting, my pancakes were getting cold. I thought, maybe, they only give one small souffle cup with the pancakes and she was in the back asking for permission to give another. The experience was not good. Everything we asked for, took way too long to reach us. My food got cold waiting on service. I had to take the majority of it home. I got the impression that they are stingy with condiments and if you send something back you may get it right back with something masked to cover it up. Just weird....

The last weird event was, we gave the waitress a card to pay. She came back with a receipt for my son to sign, but no card. She indicated that she would be going back to get the card shortly. We were puzzled by that. We eat out a lot and have NEVER had a receipt retuned without the credit card. Just one weird experience after another. We will NEVER go back!

FYI: The food is just average,...

The service of this place was so horrific from front counter to the floor and not to mention the dirty kitchen that was Trash all over the floor and the floor was watery and it was gross . After sitting on the table waited 15 min to even be acknowledged by anybody and finally came the black waitress name Brook j whom steal money from my credit card by adding the tip herself because I didn’t tipped her because of her horrible service. It takes 10 min just to get some water and she forgot the wine and I didn’t see her the entire meal until the end just casually asked if I want some water for take out REALLY for what she should’ve asked me if I need anything during my meal SHE WAS HORRIBLE and all the people who work at this place act as if they hated their job and being arrogant at the same time and I finally understand why this place has such horrible service after I spoke to the manager name Todd he over talk me and never Listen to what I had to say although I told him why I didn’t tip and just told me he will refund my 9.00 dollars and I can’t believe anyone would put this idiot to run this place and this place would’ve been out of business if it weren’t in a good area and this manager had the audacity to said he tried to help means for what .? Is is for trying to get the money back from the waitress who stole money from my credit card and for me to have to deal with this incompetent manager PLEASE CHECK YOUR BILL BEFORE U PAY AND TAKE A PIC OF YOUR RECEIPTS since this place it just shameless GREAT JOB MR MANAGER for condoning your staff to provide horrible service and when the customer refused to tip due to that reason then you told your staff sorting to stealing tip from the customer credit card and I should’ve called the cops on this place...

Incredible gluten-free food without the hassle. Each dish we had was gluten free and more delicious than the last. The fried green tomatoes were delicious, a meaty perfectly cooked tomato with a deliciously crispy and crunchy finish; goat cheese spread put this appetizer over-the-top: a must try. Then we got to the entrees, the meatloaf is an incredible texture well-bound for a gluten free varietal of the classic comfort dish with a light and fragrant tomato gravy that made for an incredible main, that contrary to what you may think when you picture meatloaf, isn’t too heavy/fatty. The chicken tenders were also out-of-this-world with a deliciously crispy cornmeal-based coating hugging deliciously tender and juicy chicken. The wasabi-honey dipping sauce can not be missed!! The gf jalapeño cornbread mini muffins that accompany each entree were also delectable. Sides we tried: Mac and cheese (delicious, creamy, not overpoweringly cheesy), spicy greens (cooked to tender perfection, not very spicy at all), pickled beets and goat cheese (good), kale Caesar salad (solid dressing, good portion of high-quality Parmesan), fried Brussels sprouts (crispy veggie perfection), house-cut fries (classic, well-salted). I will be back the next time fate brings me to ATL.
