I stopped by this shop on a hot day, simply asking if I could buy a cup of ice because I was overheated and my water had gotten warm. Despite having plenty of ice on hand (which I saw being used for smoothies), the employee refused—not politely, but with an attitude, saying, “We don’t sell ice!” I was shocked and embarrassed by how unkind the response was. You Only Live Once is a GEM. A black owned local smoothie bar/restaurant in the heart of Piedmont is where you need to go. My favorite is the Tropical Delight, and the crowned jewel? THE VEGAN EGGROLLS. They have Big Mac eggless eggrolls that taste exactly like you got them out the drive through. Non greasy, and I’m not a vegan guys. Im not one those folks who can be convinced, but these are truly amazing and everyone who works out in Ansley knows where to go....
