Makay Chopbar catered my wedding last weekend and everything was a hit! Our menu included jollof with veggies, spring rolls, plantains, meatpies, grilled chicken, tomato goat stew, beef suya, and egusi! We barely had leftovers and all the guests raved how flavorful, tender, hot, and delicious the food was to honor my husband’s culture. It was a joy to see folks who never had this food going back for seconds and even grabbing to-go containers.
The communication was impeccable and the chef accommodated special requests for food preparation to use traditional ingredients. The team arrived on time, created a lovely display, and the servers were so friendly. They also cleaned the area very well before departing.
