This was my very first time 7/7/23 ever going in as many times as I have passed the place. Ducked in to use the bathroom saw a menu then placed ordered. They have TVs and a nice bar area didn't check the prices probably high like the food was. First off I didn't like they had no posted signs telling you they add a swipe fee when a debit/credit card is used so that added an additional .39 cent to my overpriced order! Why didn't the cashier mention there is a swipe fee added when a card is used? Why mislead the customer?? I let the guy know IF I came back I wouldn't be using my debit card treat em like the gas station ONLY use cash!! Second they have outdated menus I ordered 10 wing comb lemon peppered dry, on the menu it was $8.99 (I was charged $9.99) and to add the drink and fries was $2.50 (I was charged $3.00 no deal). I was charged $12.99 for the combo when by the menu I should only have been charged $12.49!! If you're hungry you don't get your money's worth because they using the smallest wings and the smallest fries on!! Brought out the very small container I had spent $14.49 for like he was trying to hide that very small container I was so disappointed!! Usually places SHOW you the food I had to ask! Compared to Yum's same combo the price is $13.06 and the wings are way bigger and they used the crinkle cut fries which is much bigger than the shoestring size as well. Why not alter the menu to show the new prices like they charge $3.00 for a can drink and those small shoestring fries!! Third the food is NOT value priced the wings were very, very small AND the fries were the shoestring kind which is also very, very small. I placed my order it took ALMOST 30 minutes to get the order which was cold when I got it. No offers of extra just a weak I'm sorry almost lost 2 bags of ice fooling with them!! The wings had been fried too long and with them being so small they tasted tough when eaten and those shoestring fries when cold was like eating glass!! I didn't taste much lemon pepper it was more of a spicy rub on the chicken I don't prefer NOTHING spicy!! As I stood in the place looking at people come in many walked in and placed orders got them and left while I still waited for my food. They could really used some more space as everybody seemed all crowded together behind the counter especially near the kitchen with the refrigerator door open holds up progress from the kitchen which added to my wait time!! Don't know if there will be a second time I am a visual person and overall I didn't like what I saw not saying their not a good spot they were off their game when I came in. The guy was surprised when I told him this was my first time ever coming into the place!! I am not adventurous when it comes to food if it doesn't look or smell right I'll PASS ... I love places that give me my money's worth plus I usually have something to eat for later with Mr. Pig's Smokehouse had to eat the whole meal!! Nothing was left for later when I got hungry again as their portion size on the wings AND fries were very small. I added 2 pictures one of the food and the other the container the food came in compared to other wings spots Mr. Pig's Smokehouse is fighting near the bottom with the other wing places that say they selling wings when what they selling is smaller portion which shouldn't even qualify as a wing. Sad the play on words and the ripoff that comes with it welcome to greedy America where they want all their money but the consumer is left feeling robbed š¢ with the very small portions they get away with selling .. you take or leave it this is the very reason my eating out has dropped off not getting my money's worth. I should have just used the bathroom and went on home instead of wasting time placing as order and being very disappointed š with the results which wasn't worth what I spent. I know the food business is hard and people trying to make a buck and provide a service but the eatery don't treat the customer right serving the smallest portions of stuff while collecting ALL their money!! Make it make...

We went very late and everybody was helpful and fun. It was like going to my Uncle's for dinner and the food was just as good.
A vacation from work could be whatever you want it to be 'cause you not at work. Take the whole family if you like. But a true vacation is to relax however it comes.
My family ordered and I got to taste : 1/2 slab Baby back rib dinner Que's turkey burger dinner 1/2 slab Spare rib dinner
Each dinner came with an ample side: Candied Yams, green beans, rice, fried okra, collard greens and Pokey's Mac & cheese
My small guy (8yrs) said the green beans and rice needed seasoning.
All of the Ribs were spectacular. Ribs falling off the bone impeccably seasoned no sauce needed but I did try : regular and cold ( which is a mustard based sauce much like Chick-fil-A sauce) they were both delicious although, I am of the party that delicious bbq needs no sauce so they were invited to the party but I really didn't care if they came or not.
The Turkey burger was huge. Dressed with traditional accoutrements. I didn't get cheese. I could have used a little more seasoning too but it was still simply yummy.
Collards tender and slightly sweet (I really love mine a little more vinegary but that's just me) and Mac and cheese (baked, no other way if I was asked) is cheesy with the perfect bite, the Fried okra was crunchy and perfectly seasoned. Candied yams were tasty seasoned like pie and not too sweet. I'd order them again.
After all this food we were stuffed to the brink of busting but ...
We had banana pudding for dessert it is banana adjacent more like vanilla pudding with cookies but...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWell, I was trying out a new place for lunch. I called in ahead of time and was told my order would be ready in 10-15 minutes. I got there almost 25 mins later and my food wasn't ready, the Cook said he was "looking for my collard greens", that confused me to say the least, when I asked what that meant, he told me, "well we don't have enough so I was looking to see if someone else made some, or I might have to give you Kale". I told him I'll take the Kale if it was ready because I had to return to work. About 10 mins later I finally got my food. I ended up getting the collards anyway (that he didn't have enough of) so it was whatever meat they cooked the greens in, with little collards placed on top to make it look like I had a dull serving of greens when it was actually far from a full serving. To top that my coleslaw was placed right next to my collards, so by the time I made it back to work, my coleslaw was swimming in collard green juice. Man I love hot, soupy coleslaw (insert fake laugh here). The juice probably wouldn't have spilled over onto the coleslaw had the cook not ran outside as I was pulling off and even had a pedestrian to flag me down as I was exiting their parking lot, so I hit my brakes and backed up quickly to avoid getting t-boned by traffic, thinking I must have dropped something in the restaurant or on my way to the car or something, only to roll my window down so the cook could ask for my number. The ribs were falling off the bones tho, but they looked dirty.... This review isn't to bash this establishment, just sharing...
