It’s so great to have the diner back in town 😊 Everyone was super sweet and nice! Service was prompt and friendly. Establishment was extremely clean and I love how they re-did the back room. The avocado eggs Benedict is delicious and the eggs were perfectly poached. Portion size will allow me two meals…I bought a whole bunch of different things for my week. The greens in the side salad are very fresh and crisp! I love that they have a large assortment of soups to choose from…the basics plus more. I got the chicken escarole. Yum! Perfect for the 44 degree weather tonight. Although I took my food to go, I noticed how relaxing the music was and not super loud and it was definitely a comfortable temperature inside. Only thing I would add back was that amazing fresh squeezed orange juice because it was always the perfect compliment to breakfast AND so delicious! The food was fresh and delicious. Service was helpful and friendly. The entire restaurant from the customer’s perspective was clean, inviting, and well organized. Atmosphere was cute, with interesting woodwork and molding— a vintage style luncheonette!

I had a yummy California cheeseburger. My wife ventured off the typical diner fare, and was rewarded with an exceptional sautéed shrimp, pasta, and broccoli rabe dinner. I’m sure because I tasted. My friend ordered antipasto salad that looked surprisingly good. Rice pudding, tiramisu, Lacas coffee.

Lived in Atlantic Highlands for 25 years so far. So I've seen this place go through a few names, all the way back to Town 'n Surf. Came in today since I'm watching my parents dogs, and didn't feel like cooking. Got myself my favorite breakfast, Western Omlete with cheese, and rye toast, with a hot cup of coffee. Staff was pleasant to interact with. Food was, and has been, hot and delicious. Waitress checked in a few times, not too many to be in the way, but just enough that if I did need something, she was available.

All in all, good experience, definitely recommend for a homely cozy...
