Food has tasted great for years, but Apollon undercuts their foods value by making decisions which will ruin your appetite. We ordered a steak and cheese with pepperoni (large), a roast beef sub (medium), and ‘spicy fries’. I added two blue cheese which was $2.00 extra. The food arrived in about 50 minutes. The blue cheeses were stuffed INTO the fry container, so that they didn’t have to give us a lot of fries. Mind you, these are deep cups, more than I needed. The fries were exceptionally soggy; no longer solid. They weren’t spicy either. Here’s my big complaint: the sandwiches are listed with pre-set options. My steak and pepperoni description said mayo and lettuce. I liked this style so I only added cheese. Well, they didn’t give me the lettuce and mayo. I also wanted to add pickles and there wasn’t even an option. Since I knew they probably wanted 50 cents, I decided not to put it in the suggestion box because it would probably be skipped anyway. Low and behold, they did the same thing with the roast beef; listed preset ingredients but didn’t include them. The kicker was I could have added them, but it would cost 50 cents each, so I knew it meant extra. So basically, Apollon lists ingredients your sandwich comes with, but you will only get them if you pay extra. This in combination with the fries is just a stupid money grab that sours the experience. Also; the large wasn’t more than .25 inches bigger than the regular. I paid $9 for meat. Zero cheese that I couldn’t find on the steak and cheese. I believe I paid extra for that also. I won’t let them screw me again!...
Read moreI rang the place up and ordered a burger and fries and the guy asks if I want a large or small burger. I look at the menu and there isn't a small burger but there is a burger in the kids meals. Assuming he means small is the kids burger and large is just a burger I ask for the large. Later on the food shows up on time and it's still hot (love that) but bringing it in I realize burgers are generally not long cylinders. He had given be a hamburger sub instead of an actual hamburger. So before I start eating I ring them up again and a new person is on the phones and I start to explain the situation only for them to cut me off and tell me a large burger is obviously a sub. The tone of voice they had with a customer is absolutely unacceptable, I'm a minimum wage worker as well and I would be in so much trouble for talking to a customer the way they did. Also a large burger is not obviously a sub, no where on the menu does it say anything like that, never have I been somewhere that would hand you a sub if you asked for a large burger and at no point did the original phone operator inform me I would be receiving a sub. All that said the food is fantastic and worth every penny...
Read moreHave frequented this place several times. Unfortunately, every time you talk to the owner, he has a real negative attitude. Staff is friendly and courteous. This past weekend, I found a coupon with Dining Advantage. I purchased the coupon and phoned in an order telling them I had a coupon. The owner calls me back and says there is no coupon but he wants to see it so come on in anyway. I show up and show him the coupon (you have to pay to advertise with this company and the end user has to buy the coupon). I showed him the coupon and he states that he never contracted with them and he was phished. He stated the company stole his information and is advertising his business against his will. He tried charging me full price for the pizza. I refused the pizza and left it for him to enjoy. I promptly went around the corner to Attleboro House of Pizza where the coupon for their establishment was gladly accepted and I was thanked for the order. Their pizza is good but from now on, I would refuse to go there if they offered me the product for free. The owner just isn't...
