Had the worse experience at this location. My family and I had visited this location Saturday. We order our food and I had order my dish and asked for no tomatoes. The waitress Liza told me she would make sure their will be NO TOMATOES on my dish before walking away from the table. 20 mins go by and we received our dish and the first thing I see are tomatoes on mine. We had told the server which is now Victor, we specifically told Liza no tomatoes. Victor took it back and not even 5 minutes my dish came out. I had notice the food presentation was messy but I didn't want to complain. I started to eat and all of sudden my throat swelled up. I moved the noodles to see if their was tomatoes and YES, at the bottom of the dish. They did not make a new dish, they scraped the tomatoes off and served it back to me. Applebee's policy is to remake the meal, not scrape it off and serve it back. I couldn't really speak to call the server to let them know what was going on but at the same time, our server was talking to other employees instead of paying attention to the customers. I asked Victor to speak with the manager cause this unacceptable! An older lady with shoulder length blonde hair, in a manager shirt came out and asked what happen. I explain to her the situation and she acted very nonchalant and didn't care about it. I told her to remove the dish from my tab. She came back out with our new bill and asked if the amount is okay? Why would she ask if the amount is okay first of all? Just because I'm a women of color wearing a sweater and sweats on doesn't mean we are not going to pay. From the employees gossiping in the back Michelle, which is the manager, was stereotyping my family and I. Now I can understand why she was being nonchalant with me when I was explaining the situation. The employees seemed to find this funny as well. The location is poorly managed. I will make sure everyone knows the truth about...
Read moreLet's start with the cons. We came in and no one who worked there was around. There were quite a few people waiting. It was not busy at all. It turned out there was a party of 20 coming in here and there and they just assumed everyone who came in was with the group. So everyone (including those with the group) was ignored. A manager came up to talk to a man sitting close by and was told by the man that they needed to seat people who weren't with the group. Since he had paperwork and was getting special attention from the manager I'm assuming he had something to do with the store. We were sat at a table and I quickly took a break to the restroom. It smelled putrid. Overwhelming sewage smell. A mother was trying to get her daughter through as quickly as possible because the smell was so bad. Our waiter took our drink order and shortly after took our food order. The party of 20 was finally seated and not 15 minutes later their waitress told them she was going on a 30 minute break and another sections server would check on them occasionally. My chicken came out and it was so unbelievably dry. I'm used to eating somewht dry chicken at restraints and I just do it but I couldn't swallow this because it was so bad. I told the waiter and he immediately got a new one for me. All the side dishes were barely warm. The multiple flies buzzing around out food didn't add anything positive to our experience. Now for the good.... our waiter, Zach, was phenomenal. He was checking on us frequently and always made sure everything was taken care of. When I told him my chicken was dry, he immediately took care of it. He was very good natured and joked around with us. Once I got a new piece of chicken I enjoyed the entree. (Minus the cool mashed potatoes) My husband's ribs were very good. I trully hope our waiter didn't have to split his tip with anyone. We left him a good tip because he specifically deserved it. We won't...
Read moreI came to stay with my parents for a few days as Im from San Diego, we decided to go to Applebees for dinner, as soon as we walked in the host greeted us and was about to seat us when she told us to wait and went to the back about 2 minutes later she came back, and just a few seconds after more servers came out after her (the restaurant was pretty much empty) didn’t think much of it, our actual server came took our orders and was “nice” but then we noticed some things were off, for one thing the creams and sugars the server just came and tossed them on to the table (quite literally tossed them) not even in a tiny bowl or anything, we were also seated away from the other dine in customer (like one or 2 couples) once we got our food and drinks the server would be coming every 2-3 minutes literally every 2 minutes ( I get this could’ve been “quality service” but we took note that the other tables only got checked on every 10-15 minutes, another thing those other servers that came after the host going in the back decided to sweep I mean sweep the entire time we were seated right next to us… just a table or two down of us they stayed there all that 1-1.5 hours that we were there… im not one to make victims of myself of my race but this quite literally felt like profiling, the two additional servers just sweeping the whole time we were there seated never moving on to a different spot, our server checking us every 2-3 minutes, oh and the check came quite literally as our food was delivered my family hadn’t even taken a bite of our food when the server came and dropped the check off… we still thought of ordering dessert but we didn’t we had enough, we ate paid and left. Quite the worst experience we had (especially it being my first time at this place, my parents and brother were frequent visitors and talked about how good it was but we won’t be dining with this...
