Granny's Pantry — Restaurant in Atwater

My first time at this joint 😁! As soon as you walk in you see nothing but i love Lucy decoration on their wall. Very relaxing for me, it defetnely reminds me of agrannys house. I love the bare wood showing in the ceiling. As for the food it gives you that home made feeling. I order the Chicken Fry steak with home fries and off course a side of biscuits and gravy. Uuhhhmmm yummy for my tummy. My wife order the Jane Faul which was ok to her taste buds. Coffee was good except that they didn't have Sugar In The Raw. Pancakes were good specially with the syrup serve nice and hot. Great combination . I had a great experience serves kept coming back to serve me hot coffee which was on point. Did i mention that coffee cups are big? Well they are and that's a plus for coffee drinker like me. If your traveling thru the city make sure that you do by here and give it s try! Believe me that's its better than Dennys. This place is awesome!! The biscuits and gravy are a must try! The flavors in the gravy are spot on with great seasoning that you would expect it to have. I ordered the Ham and Cheese Omelette and had Home Fries as my side. The omelette had big cubes of diced ham which really made my food palate happy. I can’t say enough about this place. The portion sizes are large as I left happy and full. Most importantly, the service was excellent!

9/21/2022 Today I thoroughly enjoyed breakfast and had great company. It was a lot of fun catching up and talking about life and the fun times we had working together. This was my first time here and I loved it!! Its such a great small atmosphere with nick naks and wooden walls!!!

The front part of the restaurant was filled with Nik naks, just like Grannys house. Then theres a back part of the restaurant which is called Granny's backyard. I cant speak to the backyard because we didnt go there. But the front is adorable!! They even have tables placed in the front windows with adorable paper in the background. It's a real life store front.

The food was very good!!! The fruit cup was fresh, the hashbrowns were soft and golden. The corned beef hash was good well.

We also ordered a waffle, which was fantastic!! I do not like waffles at all and this waffle melted in my mouth and tasted like yummy vanilla!!!
