I take big issue with the false/mis advertiaing at this place. Many many restaurants have tried and failed here. If Jaliscos doesn't fix their menu for transparency, they will not last. I for one will not return. I got scammed on a basic taco platter entree. I ordered 2 tacos with rice and beans. Pretty simple. I did not order street tacos which are mini tacos. However, Jaliscos scammed me and gave me two super tiny mini tacos - aka street tacos. When you order burgers out they are either regular burgers or mini burgers- aka sliders. It says on the menu what you are ordering. You would never order a burger and get served a slider. Can you imagine paying full price for a hamburger and getting a slider? Well that is what happened to me at this place. I ordered a taco plate and they did not say on the menu that they were street tacos. There's a huge difference in the size of the tacos and also the toppings. The street tacos as you may know are extremely small and only have meat . No lettuce, tomato, cheese, pico, etc. So you have been warned, consumer. And Jaliscos- this is unethical and i will look in to reporting you to places like the BBB. BY THE WAY - the meat was cool, not hot. A health...
Read moreThis restaurant was extremely clean, with friendly service, great food selection, and an inclusive dine-in self-serve bar that includes chips, salsa options, and cutlery.
Each table also had all the condiments you could hope for at a Mexican restaurant.
My husband tried the spicy seafood soup, and it was something we had not experienced before. It was a spicy lime base with shrimp and octopus. Our host was kind enough to check our table and let us know it was a popular dish for people in need of a hangover cure. Although it wasn't something I would choose, it was actually refreshingly different and a good new experience! I had a simple chicken dish, and it was great! Each of our meals had a good presentation; the soup arrived in a very unique, almost diabolical looking bowl, and my chicken salad had orange slices arranged brightly around the plate.
There also was a very nice-looking bar we did not visit, but if you are looking for a bar and some good food, this could be a good...
Read moreThis is like a taqueria, you order up front, pay there and get a number sign before food is brought out to your table. Everything is self-serve. I had a taco and Chile relleno combo plate. The taco was a soft, street style, and it was sitting in the beans making it very messy to try and pick up, plus it was soaked through with either its own juice or the sauce from the relleno. Like trying to pick up a rock in a wet tissue. The taco was not what I look for when I ordered a shredded beef taco. It was stewed meat in some kind of sauce with a lettuce and onion topping. Where's the cheese? The relleno was better, but only so-so. The beans were cooked well but needed some flavor and more than the little decoration of cheese. This meal had some heat to it, but not too much for me. My two item combo dinner was about $16.00. There are better options in town that include atmosphere and wait service for...
