Read moreWe reserved a Hibachi table for 10 People. It was my twin Granddaughters Birthday. My daughter and I arrived early and when we were seated we mentioned the air was too cold. We were told that's how it had to be and it will warm up when the table is on 9 so now we have to sit in our coats and freeze until the chef comes. The server snarled at us most of the evening and treated us like we were a bother to her. She serve my Martini and I mistakenly tipped the glass spilling some of the drink she came to help clean up all the while scolding me. Later once all our guest arrived she stood in at the center and ordered us to give our orders My sons both told her they did not want rice but instead extra vegetables she told them no no that ok you take the rice we don't charge you for it. When she got to me I told her I wanted F16 from the menu No No !! you tell me the name I don't know numbers OK Blessed Happy family meal. OK OK what Color Rice by this time I'm giving back what she's serving I told her you pick I don't know color. ( either way your going to give me what you want to give me) Story can go on and on about how rude this server was BUT Wait there's More.....at the end she brings me the bill I proceed to give her my Credit Card she comes back and While Im signing the receipt She proceeds to pick up my wallet Opens it up and shoves my credit card in. I was amazed at the audacity this server had the nerve to not only touch my wallet but open it. She could have gotten hurt doing something like that. Anyway long long story short I will never...
Went to Jasmine for hibachi to celebrate a family member's high school graduation. The food was excellent, but the service was very weird. The host and waitstaff were obviously annoyed with our party because we didn't all arrive together (everyone showed up within 5 mins), then they rushed us through our meal--taking plates away before people were done and aggressively asking us if we wanted anything else, obviously just to hurry us along. The hibachi chef basically refused to leave until we gave him a cash tip (I've tipped on a credit card there in the past), so another guest and I had to leave in the middle of our meal to go across the street to a convenience store to use the ATM. By the time we got back, there was already a to-go box waiting next to my food. The chef also kept insisting that we post pictures of him to Instagram and tag him, all while we were trying to eat. Got the check and saw that gratuity was added, which was fine. But then, the server stood over me while I was signing the bill, telling me that I should add more because servers there have to split their tips with the chefs. We already tipped the chef separately. She wouldn't go away until I added the extra tip and signed the check. It was just a super uncomfortable experience that has turned me off to...
Read moreOur waiter was very nice, patient, empathetic and took great care of us! Us! We had a 1-year-old with us and he had no problem helping us satisfy her needs and cleaning up after her! He went above and beyond to help! They sat us in a quiet corner, as we requested because we are celebrating a birthday and because we had a 1-year-old child who didn't need to be overwhelmed. Normally they only take reservations of eight people or more, but since we were only six and it was a birthday celebration and we needed a high chair available, they put us on the books, just to be nice! This saved us a long wait and we were very grateful, considering we were all starving! The only downside was that they didn't really have any mocktail options other than a frozen strawberry daiquiri. That was disappointing. They not only serve hibachi, but they serve regular Chinese food as well and sushi, so is a broad variety for everyone. We decided not to sit at the hibachi tables, where there's a lot of entertainment,.because the one year old near a flaming grill would have been dangerous! They not only serve hibachi, but they serve regular Chinese food as well and sushi, so is a broad variety for everyone! Prices aren't too bad, either! Great time...
