Update! * This Burger King has made a tremendous improvement! I've been back a few times and been happy with the service (a young male manager that is pleasant and courteous whether I'm ordering at the drive thru or on the lobby) and the food is made to order - the BK way!!! Very happy with these new team members - and they're always busy! (8/24/21) Original post below: Now I'm a BK customer again. We chose the drive thru at Burger King for items that we would normally drive somewhere else to get, but because the last year's trips here have continually gotten better, we opted for BK. When it's good, it is awesome. When it is bad, it is unmistakably awful! The experience on this particular day involved an employee with the absolute worst attitude I've EVER endured, anywhere ~ EVER! If you don't like your job, there are a lot of others out there. If there aren't other jobs out there, attainable for you, and you need an income to support yourself/family, please STOP treating customers as if they are a problem or as if asking you for something "Unreasonable" when they ask you to fix something you dropped in front of them. . It's quite simple really: 1) Establishments offer things for sale; 2) Customers visit establishments based on needs or wants; 3) Never forget that in the U.S. there are laws that stop establishments from being a monopoly (there is ALWAYS another option); 4) Without customers, establishments do not make money, which means they do not need employees - which means you don't have a job. This is obviously a simplified breakdown of how an economy is made or destroyed, yet it seems to have escaped the minds of many people today. Bottom line - no customers = no employees! Stop treating people...
Read moreWorst BK in Augusta area. How can a place screwup 4 out of 6 separate visit orders? They were small and simple orders at non-peak times. Getting things right is a mission an elementary kid could manage. No receipt twice. Omitted a burger twice, forgot my onion rings once, and 3 times now I was sent me away with no dipping sauce for my nuggets. This happens despite having asked me which sauce I wanted! Get it together simpletons! Went there kwith a friend recently and her 6yr old hungry kid craved a meal as we sat in line to pay. She asked if she could add a second order just for a kids meal. Denied! She was told to repeat the drive thru line or go inside the restaurant for it. Their bread is stale and unappealing (I just remove it), they skimp on sandwich condiments badly, the employee's never have a smile nor friendly word -and don't seem to be very bright. This no usually has no dip sauces of any sort. Even though they ask you which sauce you want. Why even bother asking? Why not say "sauce not available". Was told shortage of deliveries (claimed last night by the manager woman). Because last night, I once again came home only to find sauce (plus a burger and the receipt) missing. The place is an embarrassment to BK's everywhere. On the positive side, their Fries are always great, and nuggets are spot-on (sauce woulda been nice though fyi bk) I am. entitled to a big combo of my choosing here since they have been so incompetant and have given me multiple difficulties. McDonald's, Popeyes, a wing restaurant, a seafood restaurant and Krystals are all within short walking distance from this cockeyed Burger King. So, I would go to 1 of those...
Read moreA "hot mess" is how I describe my visit. After driving pass other tempting restaurants coming from Charlotte, I decided to pull into Burger King on Dean's Bridge Rd. Seeing that the drive through only had one car, I started to leave for fear that some food would not be fresh. Against my first leading, I ordered at 9pm and recvd my Impossible Whopper, a Whopper, 2-10 count chicken pieces and a small order of fries at 9:20 (The wait was painful enough after traveling.) I got home and the only thing fresh after the 20 min wait were the chicken nuggets and fries. I wish I had not craved for that Impossible Whopper. After arriving home, which is about a 5-7 min drive, as I excitedly took the Impossible Whopper from the slightly soiled bag, the onion reaked as I took out a cold, sloppily made Whopper. It was enough mayonnaise on that sandwich to make a chicken salad. I just knew it had been sitting at the restaurant forever and that if I were to eat it, I might have been poisoned. Whew! Please, if you stop to this BK, BEWARE!!!!!. There is a score of 99 posted on the drive-through window that is missing how the score was obtained. Last night as I witnessed fries, lettuce and other particles on the floor, I started to ask for my money back and drive off. But again...against my better judgment...I didn't. Needless to say, I photographed the trash that this BK tried to pass off as consumable food and chalked it up to experience. I fixed a safe, faithful PB&J sandwich, popped open the tab of a mini Pepsi, and ate a snack-size bag of Cheetos and I was satisfied. I recommend you do the same when traveling on Sundays and Chik fil A is...
