This charming establishment serves to-go food only, so be prepared to take your culinary adventure with you. But don't let that discourage you; the absence of seating is more than made up for by the incredible flavors that await!

Of course me and "Son One" had to hit the town last night to find another Augusta classic! "Jackie M's and sons" is now an American top 100 on Yelp ranking a well completed #77! As we took our left on Milledgeville Road there to our left was this older building with lots of people gathered almost with a family like following. This ellectic group had one thing in common, they were there for not just incredible hoagies and "Soul Rolls", they were there for the "Jackie M's and Sons" experience!! When we got to the front door, it was locked... At first Caleb and I looked at each other thinking we were there to late.. I checked the time, it was only 6:30, they don't close until 8:00 p.m.... Suddenly, a woman with an apron opens the door simply to say, we are out of roast beef for their famous Philadelphia Cheesesteak hoagie... Hungry enough to eat the screen door, I asked politely, "do you still have chicken for a "Philly Cheese chicken buffalo hoagie?" She replied, "yes".... In we went into the cramped order area.... There, was one if Jackie M's sons taking orders... but there was much more than orders taken, there was a feeling of excellence, humor, and pride with friendliness that made you feel like family! That was truly their "secret sauce"... He took his time with each person almost purposely to tie in personalized phrases that made you feel like that order was personalized to you... Finally, 20 minutes went by and it was our turn to order.. Caleb first, then me... Well, by that time I was so hungry, I think I ordered 1 of everything that was left! As, I finished, he said, Joe, yours is the last order today because we are now "out of food"!!!😅😅🤣🤭🥳 They locked the door again, so I was the official "they are out of food" guy each time someone new came to the door... I think the crew got a kick out of me voluntarily taking the position as the bearer of bad news to each of the late comers... afterall, I did take the last of what they had gladly!! Checkum out folks! It was worth the hour wait and on my box was the title "Super" with my name...

The Best Sub”s in The AUG . Been going to this place sinces they start out , they started out in just one room of the place of there location as Jackie also to customer we have Goal to be able to have the whole house to our self , I watch over the years as they grew , tell everyone this how I an my Wife at time found the place both was off work on a firday night my mother watch our three young boys for us to go out for a little while an an take our normal walk down river walk . I ask my wife on way back to house where would like eat tonight or grab something to go back home with , us to has always been a big fan an eater of a Hot steak an cheese sub started back when I worked in a pizza place back in late 90”s cause we use to said subs with our Pizza. So I told my wife when I picked up the two oldest boys from school today I noticed a new little sub place was opening today so we got there maybe 10 mins before they was closing more then telling us that they was closing the nice laney said come on in an could I help you two we ordering 3 of longs steak an cheese sub they offered an that time with extra cheese like my wife like them an to make long store short , been going for many Years , Super Great am Family friendly people an environment, treat u like family, been knowing these people for years an my kids an there friends an family go here So Keep Up The Hard work Making Augusta Georgia best of all time steak an cheese subs how my two young daughter say it if it’s not cooked with love then it want be right This place put a lot of love in ever Order that is placed .
