Today was a long day involving school shopping with my daughter & son. It was not the best experience, as my children decided to have disrespectful mouths & horrible attitudes on & off throughout the day. Once our shopping was completed we decided to find a Zaxbys & eat. We found the Zaxbys on Harper Franklin Ave & I believe it was fate. When we arrived my daughter was in a mood & I was ready to cry because my nerves were just shot. (I do want to state that my daughter was diagnosed with Autism & she's 8 years old). Before I knew it a young gentleman, an employee at Zaxbys, went over to my daughter & was talking with her & helping her to choose what she wanted to eat. He actually got her calmed down. It was such a relief. After helping with her he then went over to my son who had just happened to be very disrespectful to me & this young man came to the rescue again. He actually took it upon himself to talk to my son about how he was treating me. I was amazed! He was so great with my kids. I couldn't help but start crying at the cash register. Yall have got to understand how bad my nerves were by this point. It just wasn't a good day. We all have them. We all sat down & ate & I made sure to thank this gentleman & give him the biggest hug ever. Not to long after that I saw this gentlemen go over to the table my daughter decided to sit at & helped her clean her mess & then he went over to the table my son & his friend were sitting at & talked with them for a minute & they exchanged info for Fortnite. The gentlemen, who's name I just learned was David. He came back to the table again to check on my mother & I & of course I hugged him again & told him thank you.
Zaxby's you really need to reward this worker, David. He went above & beyond for my family. David, if you're reading this, thank you again from the bottom of my heart. I hope life is as good to you as...
Read moreI visited about a month ago and ordered meals for 5 people. It's a large order, so I asked at the window to confirm that all of the items I ordered were, in fact, in the bags. I was assured that the order was correct, and didn't want to hold the line up, so I mistakenly took their word. When I got home with the food, I noticed the meal meant for myself was not included in the food given to me.
I called the restaurant, explained what had happened to the girl who answered the call, and she passed me to her manager. I explained the issue to the manager, who said he wrote my name down and would be giving me the missing item next time I return, as well as a free appetizer. I was pleased with this resolution until I returned a few days later, ordered a few meals, and asked that they include the meal missing from the previous visit, as well as the appetizer.
The lady on the speaker argued that she didn't know anything about it and that she would call the manager from that day. When I pulled around to the window, she informed me that the guy only remembered offering me an appetizer. This is a problem, because they actually owed me a $10.59 meal I had already paid for. I asked that she forget the free appetizer, and just give me the order I was paying for and the meal that I had previously paid for but never received.
I was treated as if I was trying to steal from them. The lady said they can't be giving away free food and if I didn't have proof that I didn't receive my meal, there wasn't anything they would do about it.
You'd think a manager of the store promising to take care of a customer would be proof enough, but I don't believe they actually care either way. This wasn't the first time I didn't receive the correct order, but it was the last. We...
Read moreWe’re DONE! We spend way too much money here to keep tolerating a substandard quality of food! I dropped $20 for ONE MEAL and some cookies and it was total SHYT! I could’ve taken that money and gone and sat down for a decent meal somewhere!
Wings & Things meal on 7.23.2025. In my disgust and frustration, I failed to take pictures of the plate. But the wings looked all dark inside like they had been sitting for a while. They were dry, not fresh and had barely any buffalo sauce on them at all. The skimpy amount of fries was more fitting for a snack, not a meal. The tenders were on point, as usual. But they were not enough to make a meal off of alone. I did take screenshots of my online feedback survey responses. I’m attaching a few of those here.
Stop taking your customers for granted, and pay attention to the QUALITY of your product. Yesterday was a total waste of $20 for me! Glad to know a new Wing Stop is across the street, cause it’s lights out for me and the Big Z! I’ve given chance after chance after chance with this store and a few other Zaxby’s and never wrote an honest review. And now I see by the other reviews and Reddit convos (r/Zaxby’s) that I am not alone. Service and quality are sorely lacking in many locations.
This corporation spends BIG DOUGH on advertising, so they are accustomed to surviving on hype and subliminal influence (vs. true quality). Folks need to start telling the truth so they have no choice but to clean up their act if they want to stay afloat. Fugg the commercials and pay for better training, higher pay and incentives for employees who go above and...
