The chili cheese dog was disappointing. The chili was a bit... sour.... I guess is the word. Not that it had gone bad, but I have tasted that sort before and I don't care for that "recipe". But that wasn't really the main reason for my disappointment. The cheese was a pile of shredded cheddar sitting on top. That's not what I was expecting as the menu picture showed melted cheese on the chili dog. And shredded cheese is Ok with me, but a proper cheese dog should have melted cheese... Reading what I just wrote, I think I sound like a spoiled brat crying about the cheese. "My cheese wasn't melted! Boo Hoo! " Yeah, well that's what it was, I guess. So, getting over that, the cheese curds are awesome! And of course the root beer! You can NOT get better root beer anywhere else. Served up in an iced mug, they don't water it down by putting ice IN the mug. They have signs that say that it's made right there but I didn't ask if that was true. And I don't care! It's fantastic! If you're out riding your bike and you want something other than water, come here and get a mug full of the best damn root...

Awesome experience. For fast food, it hardly gets any better than this. The staff were super friendly, and the root beer float I got came with free refills. I'm glad they aren't stingy with the root beer at A&W! They keep the taps flowing! They even offered me a root beer to go as I was walking out. I had thought about asking if I could get one to go, but decided against it. They were already so nice I didn't want to push my luck by sounding entitled and expecting a free drink. They showed me! I ordered a strawberry sundae and as I was eating it there was some type of nuts in the sundae. Seemed liked it was a chunk of walnut. I am very allergic to tree nuts. Luckily i didn’t swallow it but I did end up chewing it and my whole mouth began to itch and blister. Called the restaurant and they seemed like they were poorly trained. Didn’t give me an explanation He offered an apology but that’s about it didn’t really seemed like it was a big concern. I’m worried what if it was a little kid who swallowed it not knowing they are allergic they can send someone to the hospital. I know things happen but I’m still unsure how tree nuts ended up in my...
