We have been coming here since it opened and very regular customers. The online ordering can certainly improve by getting orders correct. The turnover on the employees can be better. The biggest complaint is the inconsistencies in the the quality of the food ( which is part of the turnover aspect of employees...different cooks)
Also the prices are outrageous...2 flauta dinners and a kids chicken quesdillas, 3 mango margaritas with double shots of tequila, a Mexican coke amd a jarring was close to $120.00. (Today the smashed beans were more like mashed potatoes and more like water)
We have been going to other restaurants such as jaliscos on 31, Los camles and the food is just as good and sometimes better. Same with the drinks. Everytime we have honestly compared orders and our checks. Everytime Tagueria Aurora has ALWAYS been more than doubled the price. You can spend $120.00 dollars for a man and woman and 1 child at a 5 star high end restaurant like A Brazilian steak house. The traffic flow is slimming down month after month and year after year. There's a reason the above restaurants are always busy and have been around much longer. This place seems to be price gouging to simply make up loss of profit due to the lack of traffic flow. I’m extremely disappointed with my recent order. Not only were key items missing — like the 3 horchatas I ordered and one of the two tortas — but the tacos I received were not even the meats I selected (I ordered tripa and al pastor, and what I got was completely different). Like what???
It honestly felt like whoever packed this order just said let me throw in whatever we have left over without any care for accuracy. I had family over and was relying on this order to be correct, and instead, it was embarrassing.
If your restaurant doesn’t want to fulfill delivery orders properly or can’t take the time to double-check them before they go out, then maybe it’s best to remove yourself from Uber Eats — or any delivery platform for that matter. Based on the reviews, this seems to be a recurring issue.
To make matters worse, the food we did receive wasn’t even good. The tacos had barely any meat (some had like five tiny pieces), and the flavors were bland.
