Denny's — Restaurant in Aurora

As a truck driver after a long trip I parked this Pilot truck stop in Aurora and decided to go to Dennys to get myself a dinner . Going to this particular Dennys was a huge mistake. When I entered the restaurant, the so called female manager (very rude one by the way )who was standing there and chatting with some people,she did not even care to acknowledge, she did not greet or welcome or anything like that at all. After standing there for quite a long time I asked the menu, she throwed the menu to me and told me to find a seat. Anyway, the only female server, who was working eventually came to my table to take the order. I ordered the appetizer first and then dinner the 2nd ,but the manager brought everything together. During this entire time that I was there not the female server ,nor the (so called )night manager did not approach to me , did not ask me if I need anything such as water ,napkins or if the food was ok, absolutely nothing. I did not enjoy the food nor the service . The spanish server was chatting with everyone and asking them "How is your food sir, ? Can I get you anything else ? She was offering her service pretty much to everyone but me. She passed by my table more than 20 times but not even once didn't she ask me If my food was ok, if I need water or refill or some napkins, nothing at all absolutely nothing. I felt humiliated and embarrassed because of that low class server and the uneducated manager and wanted to leave that place When I wanted to call the server to bring my check ,the so called manager came in and I told her my frustration about their service and their lack of hospitality but she did not care . She rudely comped my meal which I did not ask her to do and she did not apologise whatsoever. I have never ever reveived extremely horrible service like this anywere.

Just be aware and do yourself a favor, go somewhere else ,don't go to this Dennys...

The only thing I can say that this place had that was amazing was their cleanliness. Which is obviously very very very important when you're eating at an establishment. But oh I don't know I kind of want my food to taste and look good My husband's steak I wouldn't even feed to my dog. Sad thing is the waitress acting like she didn't even want to be there. Now I've waited tables and worked in the food industry basically all my life and I know if you're trying to pay bills which in 2014 everything costs way too much you should want to please your customers. And by no means are we difficult customers I just asked that my drinks staple and that my tables clean and that my food's hot I don't think that's too much to ask. Sadly are waitress did not get a tip due to she only came to our table once because my husband accidentally spelled his milkshake other than that I had to ask for her to bring us to go boxes and then me and other customers didn't even know if we were supposed to pay it fine or not then we went when we went up front she acted annoyed. And the manager and shift he was clueless and stuck in the back the whole time My guess playing solitaire. If you're coming into DIA stay away from this Denny's. There's much better Denny's on Havana. And it'd be nice if a day manager or the store manager district manager calls me because I just don't see how our bill is was $71 for two people stuffed French toast in the unedible steak that I wouldn't feed my dog I highly believe that she double or triple charged or something because if that was $71 then oh my god.
