I mainly booked here because I had a long overnight layover on my way home on the tail end of a storm, and they had a shuttle. I'd called before booking and asked about the shuttle and was told that there was a set schedule in the AM with shuttles leaving as early as 3:30am, however I'd have to call for pickup. I thought that was great so I booked. I got to the airport and knowing the hotel was at least 20 minutes away I called for the shuttle as I was walking towards the airport exit. "Misty" answered and was initially helpful, however as I continued walking I walked past a talking Billboard and had to ask her to repeat herself. Not so helpful that time but no biggie. She said the shuttle would be there in about 12 minutes. It took me about that long to get to the pickup area because I didn't know where to go despite her detailed directions. I get there and look at the time stamp. I'd spoken to her EXACTLY 12 minutes before and the shuttle was nowhere to be seen. I waited a few minutes and talked to another shuttle driver that said I had to call ahead for it. I said I had but had taken a bit longer than expected. I called the hotel again and saw that my last call had been exactly 15 minutes before. I called and Misty answered again. I said I'd taken a bit longer to arrive at the pickup area but had been there a few minutes and didn't see the shuttle. I got hung up on. So I called back and an exasperated Misty answered and said that I'd missed the shuttle and it would be another 45 minutes. I set my timer for 30 minutes and went inside the airport since it was snowy weather. However because I saw many shuttles passing after about 20 minutes I decided to bundle up and go back outside to wait. I sat outside for maybe 8 minutes and then the shuttle came. I was a little confused because not even half an hour had passed yet. (As a matter of fact my 30 minute timer went off as the shuttle pulled out of the airport. So I'm not sure if the timing was off or she was purposely misquoting the shuttle times. Either way I arrive at the hotel and who should check me in? Misty. Not friendly, just seemed like she was as unhappy to be working Christmas Eve as I was to be there away from family on Christmas Eve.
As I walked away I thanked the Shuttle driver who was considerably farther away from Misty and she made sure to sarcastically yell out, "You're welcome." I'm my direction.
I was tired and just wanted to have dinner and get to sleep so I wasn't looking for a confrontation. I just looked at the shuttle driver and said, "I was saying that to you not her, she was rude!"
He kinda laughed as I walked away but maybe Misty needs to re-evaluate her customer service skills and maybe speak to management about getting different shifts if she's going to have that nasty attitude working when she is.
I gave a 3 stars instead of less because the morning check out guy and both the shuttle drivers were...

The hotel has a free shuttle. I called 4 times confirming where to wait, was the shuttle on the way, etc. I was told by both front desk people I was in the right place multiple times and on the 4th call was finally told the driver was on his way. I had to wait outside for 1:40 in the Denver wind and cold from just before 10 PM to about 11:30 PM.
When the driver finally arrived, it looked like the van had been through a war zone. The driver did not speak a single word to myself or the other passengers upon pickup or drop off despite me trying to engage him. He was clearly off doing something else or possibly sleeping. He didn’t come across and someone who wanted to be there.
At checkin, with a line of people waiting to check in, one of the two front desk people has her puppy dog with her behind the desk. Remember a line of people waiting including me who just arrived via shuttle after waiting 1:40, there are a couple of kids wanting to buy some snacks and they notice the puppy. She asks if they want to see and pet it. She proceeds to pick up the puppy, bring it over to the kids and oblivious to anything going on with people waiting to check in at almost midnight, lets them pet the puppy for as long as they want.
I was unfortunate to get the same receptionist although the other one was obviously new and didn’t know much better. I felt relieved to finally be assigned a room so I could get some rest before my flight out in the morning. When I opened the door, I was appalled! The beds were stripped and the sheets and covers were stacked all over the room on the furniture. It had obviously not been serviced. I immediately returned from the 3rd floor to the front desk, showed the picture I took and was given another room.
In my new room, at least it was on the first floor near the front desk so I didn’t have to take the rickety elevator and the beds were made. However, there was a hair tie on the floor by the door and on the on the desk between the beds by the phone there was a condom and a partially eaten tortilla chip. You can’t make this up.
In the room, there was no soap, but plenty of shampoo, conditioner and lotion.
One redeeming quality, the toilet seemed to be relatively new.
The second shuttle driver to the airport was pleasant and at least that pickup was able to be scheduled!
I should have read the reviews.
Absolutely, hands down the worst all around hotel experience I...
Read moreI’ve had better service at cheaper hotels! I would never recommend someone to stay at this hotel if anything I would choose the other quality inn closer to the airport. To start, the day before my flight, I called to ask how their shuttle works. The gentleman on the phone said it is based on call, so when I arrive in the morning all I had to do was call and they will send the shuttle. I arrive in Denver just before 7am and go to the pickup area and give them a call and the lady on the phone said they are sending it. I wait for almost an hour before I call again since no shuttle arrived and it was freezing cold outside. A different lady answered the phone and told me that the shuttle only comes every hour. At this point it was almost 8 so I continued waiting outside in the pickup area. No shuttle ever comes around so I give them another call at 8:40. I speak to the same lady as before and she rudely tells me that I missed the shuttle and I have to wait outside in the pickup area. I inform her that I have and I have been waiting at this point for almost two hours. And not once had I seen a shuttle come by that was white or black with the quality inn logo. I was even checking with ever shuttle driver that came through to make sure I didn’t miss it. I wait for another 30 minutes outside and a shuttle never comes. I ended up taking another hotel’s shuttle and walking to my hotel. I waited at the airport longer than my plane flight even took. When I finally get to the hotel I talk to the lady at the front desk she wouldn’t even give me an answer about how the shuttle works. More or less it sounds like it depends on how the shuttle driver feels that day. She calls over the shuttle driver and he tries to bribe me with various offers to try to “keep things cool.” The staff that I had to deal with the morning of 10/30/2022 were incredibly rude and unprofessional. The only thing I wanted that morning was to be picked up from the airport. The airport shuttle was the whole reason why I had booked this hotel and that wasn’t even provided for me. The staff constantly contradict what other staff members say. The pictures provided were other basic cleaning that the hotel doesn’t do. There is lots of buildup on the scum line of the pool. They don’t clean the couches in the rooms the one I had and a cup of soda spilled on it. The icebox was dirty all along the lid. I was very disappointed with my visit to Colorado. I understand it’s a budget hotel but even budget hotels can provide basic amenities...
